He takes the compliment but continues making his breakfast then joins them at the table. They sat quietly eating until Freddie went upstairs to get changed, "Any plans for the big date," Anita asks, "Or you not thinking about that yet? Though if you want to get married sooner rather than later get looking because venues get booked up to two years in advance."
"We haven't thought about it yet, the first point of call is to tell everyone but I don't really want to wait two years. Do you?" Amelia looks to Gwilym who seems to be thinking the same thing.
"No, not really," He'd be happy to go down to the registry office tomorrow and be done with it but he knows Amelia wants to white wedding, it's nothing less than she deserves and he'd be lying if he said he could live without seeing her in a wedding dress.
Thinking it over Anita knew of one place they wouldn't have to worry about being booked up, "Well in terms of the reception venue what about Roger's garden? You'd have to ask him of course but he had his and Sarina's wedding and so did Felix and Jo earlier in this year."
Gwilym nods in agreement, "It's not a bad idea actually. Then we could find something nearby for the ceremony."
"I think it's a good idea too. Would I be mad to want it to be outdoors?" Amelia frowns, "Yes it's England but if it's in the summer weather should be fine."
"Oh talk to Brian before you set a date, Queen goes on tour in June." Anita then stands putting her dishes in the dishwasher, "Now I'll drop Freddie at school and then head home but don't forget to ring Brian and tell him."
"Oh, that's our plan for today, to tell everyone."
Freddie comes running back in with his uniform on, "Ready!"
"Good boy," Amelia pulls him closer to sort his collar out, "Nanny is going to take you to school but I'll come and pick you up at the end of the day okay?"
"Okay," He hugs her then runs out to the car shouting 'bye' over his shoulder.
Amelia groans through another yawn, "Would it be rude to facetime the important people to tell them?"
"The important people being?"
"Your parents and siblings, Brian, Roger and Adam and then the rest of the cast. Then we can send a text to everyone else." Though she needs to see John in person. She wants John and Veronica at the wedding but it's going to take some convincing to get him there.
"I think it's a brilliant idea," Deciding it would be much comfier upstairs they take their coffee with them and go back to their bedroom pulling out Amelia's laptop.
------
Gwilym's parents were ecstatic to receive the news as were the rest of his family, Amelia was introduced to his two older brothers Geraint and Owen and of course, she's already met, Rhiannon.
After that they facetime Brian, Roger and Adam. Waiting for Brian to answer Amelia repositions herself sitting back against Gwilym who is sat against the headboard, "Hey Brian."
"Morning do I need Roger and Adam for this call?" He asks smiling he knew she would say yes but he hasn't said anything to the other two.
"Yes, please. Where are you?" She wonders as he walks from what she assumes is a stage to a dressing room.
"Echo Arena in Liverpool, we're just taking a break from the soundcheck. Roger and Adam stay, everyone else can we have the room please?" After everyone leaves the room he sits next to Roger while Adam adds himself to the facetime to making it easier to see.
"Hey Adam, Uncle Rog, we have some news to share with you. Um..." Amelia holds up her hand showing the ring grinning, "Gwilym and I are getting married."
