Lottie pulled up in front of her modest semi detached house. It was only small but it was hers, and she loved it. Seb pulled onto the drive as she'd told him. She got out and took her case out of the boot. Seb was just getting out of the Vantage when she put her key in the door and let them in.

"Come on through. Can I get you a drink?"

"No thanks, I'm good. You can come here and give me a kiss though." He pulled her to him and took her mouth in a gentle kiss. He wrapped his arms around her, hugging her close.

"I just can't believe this has finally happened. After all these years," he said. "I'd really begun to think you'd never want me." Lottie laughed.

"Seb, I always wanted you. I was just never ready to admit it."

"I thought you were kinda hot after our first collision but super rude."

"Yeah, well you hurt my hand, and I was stressed anyway. And I had no idea who you was."

"So you would have been nicer if you knew I was a driver rather than just a mechanic or something?"

"Sounds bad when you put it like that. What I meant was if I'd known you were so important I'd have been nicer so you didn't get me sacked. Actually, I didn't know I had the job then, and I'm talking too much." He kissed her forehead.

"Well, why don't you pop over to the supermarket and I will have a browse on my phone and see what holidays I can come up with."

"Promise me Seb, nothing too fancy. You're lucky I'm available anyway. I normally go away with my dad, and step mum , every August. But they've gone to Canada for a fortnight to visit my stepbrother."

"You'll have to take me to meet them when they get back."

"Seriously, my dad will flip. He's a massive Red Bull fan. He used to worship you."

"Used to?"

"Yeah, you turned to the Dark Side."

"I will apologise personally," Seb said , with a big grin on his face. Lottie showed him into the lounge and headed over to the shop. Seb sat scrolling through the possibilities. The trouble was it was so short notice and everywhere that took his fancy was booked up.

Then he had a great idea. He went into his contacts and hit dial. It was answered on the first ring.

"Hello stranger, how are ya?" came the voice.

"Im good mate. I actually wanted to ask you a favour..."

Lottie took longer than she thought she would. It felt like she had bumped into everyone she knew in there. She let herself back in.

"Sorry I took ages Seb. Seb?" She walked into the lounge and found him fast asleep on the sofa. She smiled. He must have worn himself out throughout the night. Come to think of it,  she could do with a nap too. She took her shoes off and curled up next to him, resting her head on his chest. Soon she was fast asleep too.

A couple of hours later Seb woke up and the first thing he noticed was Lottie was nowhere to be seen. He got up, stretched and started looking around for her. When he went in the kitchen he noticed the back door was open. He poked his head out and saw Lottie sat in a deckchair, her feet up on the patio table.

"Hey, sleeping beauty. You had a good snooze. I had a catnap myself but you slept for ages."

"Building my strength up for tonight."
