Kane summoned his sword before leaping toward Sonaya.
"YAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!"
Dragonknight and Auditorian also followed.
The three of them braved the mighty examiner!
Kane would always try to dodge and counterattack every hit that Sonaya would make to make sure his weapon wouldn't break.
However, Auditorian wasn't aware of that.
CLANG!
When he clashed with Sonaya, his sword immediately broke!
WHACK!
Oblivious of the woman's firepower, he was nearly slashed in the face.
PAK!
Luckily, Dragonknight kicked him away.
WHAM!
The Knight got slashed instead of him. But it didn't even itch his armor!
Even Sonaya was surprised.
"That's a high-quality equipment you got there."
Seeing that, Auditorian picked up an abandoned sword on the ground.
He would always approach Sonaya's back while completely relying on Dragonknight's blocks and parries. The duo immediately adapted to the battle, dodging Sonaya's attacks here and there.
But wait. The duo? Where was the other guy?
Since the three of them were busy fighting, they didn't even notice that Kane already backed away!
'This is an excellent opportunity to retreat! I can't defeat that hot-damn woman anyway!'
Kane ran away.
BAM!
"Aw!"
But he bumped into Spencer while fleeing.
"Ugh..."
"Master..."
"Hey, kid. Why don't you join them and fight that woman?"
Kane pointed Sonaya.
"Master, it's futile. That woman's a Zodiac Mage. She's the current Scorpio. How do you think we can defeat her?"
"Just use your mumbo jumbo Swordslash of Paladin!"
But Spencer shook his head.
"It's Swordance of the Paladin. I can't use it again. I can only use it once a day."
Kane pondered about Spencer's condition.
'Hmm, he ran out of mana?!'

To aid his beloved slave, I mean student, Kane brought out his mana candy from his inventory.

"Here, take this. It's a mana potion, take it and fight that woman so that I can think what to do."
"D-Do I really have to fight Miss Sonaya?"
"Not really. Just give me some time and space."
"Okay, master."
GULP!
Upon eating, a blue around spread throughout Spencer's body. The kid smiled upon feeling replenished.
"Ahhh... it feels good!"
