"Head up, Aurora," the strict, emotionless voice of Evangeline spoke. With a straight face, Aurora did exactly that, not it the mood for another lecture. Just that morning, she had been given a rebuke on how she must look 'presentable' after she wanted to just wear a hoodie and leggings for the long train ride to school, along with how she must 'show off her sophistication'. Well excuse her for wanting comfort.

Aurora rarely showed any happy emotions, let alone emotions, in front of her parents. If she smiled in front of them, it was usually forced and if she were to ever genuinely smile when not at Hogwarts, it would only be around her brother.

Therefore, as she and the other Rosenthals walked towards the brick wall, she kept her strict, inexpressive conduct whilst other muggles walking around the station who recognised them, parted like the Red Sea to let them come through.

Harrison, who was standing next to her, nudged her gently and discreetly leant down to whisper in her ear, "Rory, I bet I can run faster than you into that fancy pantsy magical wall."

The twin sister smirked at her brother, "Oh, yeah? Bet. You can't even run through the wall since you can't do magic...in fact, you can't even run."

He scoffed, "The sheer audacity."

Aurora shook her head with a laugh and hugged her brother, "See you in the summer, loser."

"I'll miss you too, Little Miss Kindess," Harrison said sarcastically.

Unfortunately, yes, it would be just under a whole year until the two siblings could see each other. Merely because Aurora wasn't allowed back during any of the holidays...and she just didn't want to go back.

Just as Aurora was about to respond, she felt an all too familiar hand grip her arm- three guesses who.

"Now, Aurora, it is a new year and I'd rather we start fresh. Stay away from those filthy freaks... it's bad enough you are already one-"

Yes. Stay away from the freaks. That she's surrounded by. Since that's the whole point of the school.

"-keep your appearance up- you are a Rosenthal-"

"And I must show it. Yes, Mother, I know," Aurora rolled her eyes.

"And no interrupting. The disrespect!" spat Evangeline, "No get onto that train and don't associate yourself with anyone. Don't come back for Christmas. Don't come back for Easter. We'll see you in summer."

As if Aurora wanted to go back to that hell hole for any of the holidays.

Harrison had already started walking away but stopped to turn around and give her his signature wink.

"Off you go, Aurora."

And without any sort of bidding goodbye, Evangeline and Edward Rosenthal left, not looking back at their daughter for another eleven months. Just how Aurora liked it.

As soon as her family was out of sight, Aurora let out a sigh of relief.

She grinned, happy to be back.

She ran onto the train after handing her trunk to the conductor.

Now, she had one intention and one intention only- find Remus, Peter and James.

And Sirius of course...for sure Sirius.

Eyes searching everywhere for her friends, Aurora laughed like a little girl- happy to finally be ridden of her parents and off to Hogwarts.

And there was always the food of course.

The food was always a plus.

As Aurora walked through the hallway of the Hogwarts Express she stopped when she saw a chocolate wrapper on the floor.

She rolled her eyes, picking it up- honestly, all people did nowadays was litter.

Just as she was about to throw it in the bin, something caught her eye- there was something written in ink on the wrapper.

This delicious chocolate bar is property of REMUS LUPIN. Is that your name? No. So DO NOT eat it- it is mine and not yours. Get your own. Thanking you kindly.

Aurora chuckled, happy to know that one of her friends was nearby.

After a minute of searching, she stopped when she saw a compartment with a boy her age in it. He was reading a book, glasses falling slightly off of the bridge of his nose... while munching on some chocolate.

Aurora slid the door open and without looking up from his book, Remus spoke, "Please go away- unless you're a Marauder or Rory, we, respectfully, don't want you here and-"

"Look up, Lupin," Aurora spoke crossing her arms.

Remus looked up immediately broke into a grin.

"Rory!" he smiled getting up quickly to tightly hug the girl tightly.

After a few seconds, she felt another pair of arms wrap around her shoulders.

"Sorry, but I think my invitation for this hug got lost along the way somewhere..." the voice of James Potter smirked amusedly.

After another few seconds, they pulled away, just as Peter Pettigrew walked in.

As soon as his eyes set on Aurora, he smiled.

"Hey, Rory."

"Hey yourself, Pettigrew."

It was around five minuted later and Aurora had made herself comfortable with her head resting in Remus' lap while her legs were sprawled on James'.

Now all that was left was to wait for Sirius.

Now, don't get her wrong, Aurora missed all of her friends.

But she missed Sirius the most.

So, instinctively, when Sirius slid open the compartment door, Aurora immediately jumped up and hugged him tight.

He stumbled slightly but immediately wrapped his arms around the girl too.

"Merlin's balls, Rory," he chuckled, still tripping slightly, "I'm not really in the mood to die today."

James sighed, shaking his head, "Oh, to be the person Rory is that happy to see and get hugged like that."

Remus patted James' shoulder sympathetically, "You'll get there eventually, mate- give it time. A boy can only dream," he said sarcastically.

Aurora laughed, letting go of Sirius and getting herself comfortable in her original position.

Merlin, she was happy to be going back to Hogwarts.
