Izuku's POV:

It's been about a month since my birthday now, and nothing has really happened. Well, actually, something did happen, but it's not big.

I learned the name of my- sorry, Kacchan's mate. Apparently his name is Eijirou Kirishima. He introduced himself in a message on my arm about a week ago. He obviously wanted me to reveal my name. I won't.

School is getting more intense because finals are in a month, then I'll have around four months to prepare for the UA support course entrance exam. Right now I am not studying though, I'm actually removing anything I could write with from my room.

Why? Because my heat is due to start any day now and I don't need to accidentally get caught up in my heat and contact my mat- Kacchan and Kirishima. They are better without me. I'd just hurt them.

Just as I manage to remove the last of my pens I feel my body heating up and rush back to my room. After locking my door I curl up in my nest. The pain hasn't hit yet but I have five minutes at most before it does. I'm so glad that Mother leaves me alone during my heats. I'd probably die if she didn't.

It doesn't even take thirty seconds before the pain hits, and it feels hundreds of times worse than anything that my mother has done to me. All I want is my mates to come help with the pain. But they aren't here.

I curl up more, squeezing myself into a ball until the wave passes, then when I look at my arm I see multiple encouraging messages from my mates. That's all I focus on until the next wave hits.

Eijirou's POV:

Kat and I had been studying for finals when we were struck with intense pain. I could tell it wasn't due to abuse like the other times, but it was just as crippling.

I didn't take a genius to know what the cause of this pain was. Their omega is in heat, but this was only twenty-five percent of the pain from it... Why is it so intense?

After the wave passes we write encouraging messages for our little green flame I call out for Iwa. It takes her no time to come.

"Hey Iwa, our omega just went into heat so we can't do anything, can you bring us some dinner?" I ask and she just looks at me funny.

"The omega is in heat? You should only feel twenty-five percent of the pain, there's no reason why you wouldn't be able to do stuff unless..." She drifts off, the end of the sentence being lost to me. "Hey Eijirou, how strong is the pain right now?"

"Well the wave just passed but it had been so strong that I couldn't move, why?"

"Well it's only that intense if..."

"Oh for gods sake spit it out already!" Kat interrupts. Iwa gives him a pointed look before continuing.

"Well generally a twenty-five percent of an omega's pain after getting their mark is enough to make their mates not want to move but they still can. If you're describing the pain accuracy then that's at the level of an omega's pain after meeting their mates, I've heard from multiple sources that even twenty-five percent of that pain is crippling."

"So you're saying we've already met our mate and they still don't wanna be with us?" I ask.

"Well, more like they probably feel as if they don't deserve help or mates..." Iwa explains. Another wave hits and I grit my teeth. "We can talk more about this after the omega's heat is done, don't worry I'll take care of you two." Iwa tells us with a smile.
