Bendy slumped forward in his high seat, resting his head on the tall gray table. He groaned tiredly.
"Sounds like you had some week." Felix said, looking at the sluggish demon.
This week was pretty eventful. With trying to keep a kid alive and hearing his sad story, it was really intense, even for Bendy. He decided to visit his old friend Felix the cat in Toontown, to get away for a day and think about everything that's been happening. Since the weather was getting much colder, they sat by the window in their high chairs, drinking their warm coffees at their favorite cafe as Bendy spoke more of his story.
"Yeah..." He sighed.
"Now he'll be away for a few weeks in a...metal hospital..."
"Hopefully he comes back before Christmas.." Felix said.
"Yeah me too.." Bendy sat up and took a slip of his warm coffee.
"How've ya been?" Bendy asked.
"Oh I've been doing ok. With the holidays right around the corner, I've just been finishing up with my new job, so I can rest easy during Christmas."
"Oh...that's good..."
"Have you..." Felix hesitated.
"Have you talked to any of your old friends lately?"
"Who-Oh!...oh no....No I..haven't..."
"When was the last time you've talk to the-"
"I don't want to see them right now...I...I really don't.."
Bendy put his head back on the table.
"Sorry.." He sighed tiredly.
"Everything's just...a mess right now..."
Felix frowned. He hated seeing his best friend in this condition. Having to deal with these stressful things he was told about and Bendy's past that he also knew his friend would never forget.
Felix thought of what he could do to cheer Bendy up. There had to be something..Then he snapped his fingers as a lightbulb appeared (literally).
He got up from his high seat and walked over the black and white jukebox, placing a coin in and selecting a song. It started playing, catching Bendy's attention as he picked his head up confused.
"Bendy, you've been through a lot this week, you deserve a break." Felix gestured Bendy to come over.
"Come on let's dance. They don't call you "The Dancing Demon" for nothing." Felix smiled.
Bendy chuckled at the cat. He knew Felix was trying to help, he also guessed it wouldn't hurt to dance again. The demon got off his high seat and joined the friendly cat.
They danced and tapped along to the music, laughing at how fun they were having. Bendy forgot how much fun it was to dance and how good he was at it too. It was one of his ways of coping whenever he felt sad and he'd always enjoyed doing it.
During part of the song, Bendy got really into the beat. He smiled brightly as he danced to his heart's content, feeling his dancing groove coming back to him. Felix danced along with him, seeing how much fun Bendy was having and that made him feel happy too.
