~⚠️trigger warning: attempt of rape⚠️~
1st person POV: Y/N WilsonI wake up to see Marcus is gone. I grab my phone and see that I have no notifications from my dad. This always happens when we move; he disappears for a few days, and then shows back up. Not saying anything about why he was gone. I put my phone down as Marcus comes in with a breakfast tray that has waffles, and bacon on it. "I brought breakfast" he says. "Thank you" I replied. "Okay so Austin is at a sleepover tonight, and Maxine is having a party here tonight, so we can either hang out at your house or get drunk." He tells me. "Get drunk. My dad comes home from wherever today, and I don't want to be near him." "Okay. Hunter is going to be here, but I'll protect you." "My hero" I say before eating more waffles. Me and Marcus grab our skateboards and head off to school. When we get there we see Maxine and the rest of her friends. We try to pass them without them noticing, but of course Hunter see's us. "Nice outfit Y/N" Hunter says after whistling.
Outfit:"Oh shut up you perv. Also it's not nice to cat call people you know since I'm not an animal, but hey you might be one; because last time I checked your a little b*tch which is a little dog. Maybe you should go claim your territory on a girl who actually gives a damn about you." I walk away with Marcus' hand in mind. "You know Cupcake I was right." Marcus looks at me. "Right about what?" "About you being like a cupcake." He smirks at me. "Yeah yeah, I know I'm cute but complex. Now come on we have to get to chemistry before Mrs. Harris falls asleep again."
~skip to the end of the school day~
Me and Marcus go up to my room so he can help me find a outfit for the party. "Okay so I have two outfits to choose from. This is outfit one." I say raising in the air. "And this is outfit two" I put the other outfit in the air. "I like outfit two the best." He replies. "Well I'm going to go get changed in the bathroom I should be out in a few minutes." I tell him. "Or you could just change in here." He says teasingly. "Smooth Baker, but not going to happen...yet." I say running to my bathroom. "Does that mean I still have a chance?" He yells. I shake my head and laugh; going to go change.
Outfit:I walk out of bathroom, and go back to my bedroom. I see Marcus just stare at me for a few seconds; before snapping out of his trance. "Do I look okay?" I ask him. He walks up to me and wraps one of his hands around my waist pushing my head up with his other hand, so we look into each others eyes. "You look absolutely stunning Cupcake ." He says barely above a whisper. I hug him. "Thank you" I whispered. "For what?" He asks putting his head on top of mine. "For being here for me, for not leaving after I told you about my mom and brother, for protecting me, & for making me feel pretty. I haven't felt pretty in a long time; not since middle school." I tell him. I don't know why but I feel like I can just talk about anything with him. I think I might like like him. "What happened in middle school?" He asks. "I was a nerdy loner, and I had braces. Apparently that was a major turn off for guys at my middle school, so they picked on me about my looks." "Well I like you no matter how you look. Weather it's middle school nerdy you or high school skater girl you." He tells me. "Thank you" "Anytime Cupcake. Now let's get to the party; before all the booze is gone." We walk into Marcus' house music already playing and a bunch of games already set up to be played. "I'm going to grab us some drinks. You can go to my room if you want while I get them. Also any alcohol preferences?" He asks. "Bacardi or Jack Daniels with Coca-Cola" I tell him. Marcus goes and gets drinks as I go upstairs to his room. I see Hunter walk out of the bathroom as I reach the top of the stairs. "Oh look your little friend isn't here to save you this time." He says grabbing me and pushing me up against the wall. He puts his hand on my lower waist, and try's to kiss me. I try to push him off, but I can't. I have tears and mascara running down my face. Marcus sees what's happening when he gets up stairs he drops the drinks, and grabs Hunter. Punching him repeatedly as I cry. Everyone hears Marcus punching Hunter and rushes upstairs. Marcus gets off of Hunter; once Hunter is to out of it to get up. "What the hell are you doing Marcus. You can't just take your anger out on other people." Maxine yells. "What's wrong with me? No what's wrong with you? Do you not realize that Y/N is over there crying because you friend just tried to rape her. So do not ask what wrong with me; because he deserved it, and I gladly do it again. Now I'm going to take Y/N into my room and make sure she is okay, and your going to get Hunter out of this house; also don't let him in this house again or near Y/N and me." I'm not crying anymore, but I'm not moving. "Y/N? Hey it's over; it's okay now. Can you get up for me?" Marcus asks. I shake my head no; crying again. "Can I pick you up?" He asks. I nod; saying yes knowing I can't move on my own. Marcus picks me up bridal style, and carries me into his room; setting me on the bed. I start taking my clothes off as fast as possible wanting anything thing Hunter touched off. I start crying when I can't get my belt off. "Hey Y/N look at me tell what you need." He says. "I n-need these clothes off. It still feels like he's t-touching me." I cry. "Okay do you want me to help you take them off?" I nod. "Okay I'm going to take your necklaces and belt off, then your boots and tights, then I'll help you with your shirts, and skirt. Does that sound okay?" I nod again. Marcus finishes helping me out of my clothes after a few minutes. "Can I take shower or a bath please?" I ask. "Yeah, I'll go set everything up for a bath." "Thank you" I whispered. Marcus comes back after setting up the bath, and carries me into the bathroom setting me on the counter. He puts a bath bomb and some bubbles in the water. "Can you stay please? I don't want to be alone, and you're the only one I trust right now." "Yeah I'll stay. I love you Y/N, and I'm sorry I wasn't there to protect you. You're the only person that gave me a chance to be there friend, and since the day you moved here I've been slowly falling for you more and more each day. You make me want to be a better person; ever since you showed up I haven't been getting high, or ditching class. You make feel like I can reach the clouds without having to get high.Which is why I promise to protect you the best that I can." Marcus says leaning his forehead on mine. "I love you too Marcus, and you did protect me. You made sure he wouldn't do anything worse than what he already did." I say. Marcus see's that the bath is full, so he turns it off. "Bath time cupcake." Marcus turns around so I can take off the little bit of clothes I still have on, and get into the bath. Once I'm in the bubbles go past my chest, so he can't see anything. "You can turn around now." Marcus turns around and sits next to the tub. "I don't think I could go to school tomorrow. I don't want to see him. I get flashbacks of bad things that have happened in my life, and seeing him would just make it worse." I say. "It's okay, I'm going to stay with you for as long as need. I'll have one Maxine or someone get us our work. Just know I'm here for you as long as you need me to be." He says pressing a kiss to my hand. About 20 minutes later the water starts to get cold, so Marcus gives me a towel. I dry off as Marcus is getting me some of his clothes to sleep in. I change into Marcus' white hoodie with cats on it, and some of Maxine's underwear and shorts that he gave me. Once I'm done getting change I go lay down on the bed curling up into Marcus' side. "I don't know what to do about my dad. I don't like him because of what happened to my mom, and he's barely even home. I just wish I could have my mom back." I say. "I know but you're always aloud to stay here. I'm sure my mom would be okay with it; once her and my dad get back from Maine. Also I am willing to stay with you at your house with you, so you're not alone." I nod and look at all the art on the wall. "I like the art hanging up, who made it?" I ask. "Well I did cupcake. When I lost my friend to cancer last year, and I would always make pictures for them every time I went to see them in the hospital. Once they passed away the hobby stayed, but then the getting high and ditching school happened. And that's how I went to being the kid nobody cared about at school to the weird stoner kid." "Well I like this weird stoner kid. Because he's not just a stoner kid. He's nice, caring, talented, and he's a good brother; weather it seems like it or not." I look up up at him and see his eyes watering. "You really are amazing Cupcake. How about we go turn off the music downstairs and see who's all asleep, and then watch a movie with ice cream." I nod. "I'll get the ice cream." I say rushing out of the room. "Not if I get it first." He says back trying to catch up to me. Me and Marcus get downstairs and see that everyone is asleep. We turn the music off, and we see Hunter asleep on the kitchen floor. "They really didn't kick him out. Well I guess I will." Marcus says picking Hunter up, and opening the front door. I walk to the door and see Marcus just drop Hunter in the grass. He comes back in and locks the door. "There no more Hunter." I laugh at what he says. "It's supposed to rain later tonight." I tell him. "Even better he can get an early wake up call." Marcus states. We grab our ice cream, and back upstairs to watch a movie. We ended up watching Grownups two. Me and Marcus were so tired that we didn't even bother putting the ice cream back into the fridge; just falling asleep in each other's arms with the movie still playing in the background.
(A.n- This was not what I was going to originally write, but I didn't know how else to write it. I also edited some grammar on chapters 1, 2, and 3)
