(Y/n's) pov
Then we saw Gerard and Scott. They were running after him, "No, fuck!" Gerard said, his steps broke down to a walk. He breathed out heavily before sitting on the ground. I walked over to him, "What was that about?" I asked, I sat beside him. "That fucker stole my wallet." Gerard began to cry, he put his face in his hands. 
In that moment I wanted to hold him, but I turned away. "What's all in the wallet?" I asked, "Everything, my ID, my cash, my fucking cards!" He punched the air. Scott sat beside him, "I'm so sorry Gee, I should've just tackled him." He said, "You should've." He hissed, Gerard holding his knees. "Stay here." I said, I walked off in the direction the mugger went. As I left their sight I tried my hand once more at floating. I hovered above the pavement, and pushed myself forward. 
I could feel the wild wind of the city whipping by me, and I lifted myself higher. I could see just about a foot more than before, and I spotted that same ginger hair and jacket. My heart burned, as I pushed myself to be faster. "pallium visus" I whispered, this spell cloaked me in darkness, I was simply a mibing shadow now. 
What would I do if I caught him? How will I get Gerard's wallet back, and why should I help him? I acted on nothing but chance. Soon I was behind the man, and as he turned down an ally I followed him. I was silent and slick, easing along without a sound. He stopped to sit by a dumster and I loomed quietly, watching him go through his pockets. As he pulled out a small beat up wallet with a large red "G" on it I pounced. "solem revelare" I said as I jumped him. 
He let out a pricing scream, and I snatched the wallet. I socked him in the jaw and ran. As I ran I opened the wallet to see Gerard's ID. "pallium visus" I disappeared once more.

As I approached the restaurant again I saw everyone standing outside. "solem revelare" I spoke. "Hey, I got him." I said, I handed Gerard his wallet. Everyone was standing outside with him. "How?" He asked standing up, "I um..." I scratched my head, looking at Scott. It's kind of a rule to not just tell people our family is magical. Gerard saw this look and nodded. "It's okay, he knows." He spoke, I breathed out a sigh of relief. "I used my powers to levitate instead of exhaust myself running. I socked him, grabbed the wallet and ran." I said. "That's what he did to me." Gerard said.
This brought all our attention to a bruise forming on Gerard's cheekbone. Without thinking I caressed the bruised, "Oh no," I whispered, "Ah, It's sore, don't touch it." Gerard winced, stepping back. "You're right, I'm sorry Gee." I said. We stood apart for a second before he stuck his hand out in my direction. His black biker gloves looked worn, I shook his hand. "Thank you, (Y/n)." He said, "Yeah thanks so much." Scott stepped into our awkward fray. 
"You risked you're life, (Y/n), I told you he had a gun." Mom said, she didn't look happy. "Mom, I felt I had to do that." I answered, "For what, to save Gerard? He's alive and right here, his wallet was not worth your potential harm." She scolded. "First you isolate yourself, then you start to not care about your own life, what are you a psychopath?" She began to yell. My father joined her, "Hey hey, he's safe. Please, Pria calm down." He tried to sooth her. I looked over at my sisters, awkwardly. 
"We better go," I heard from Gerard, "You're going?" I said, he nodded. "I think I wanna go home. Today's just been too much.." He sighed, I nodded. I could hear my parents start to argue to the side of us. "Yeah...me too honestly, well get home safe, I'm sorry about you getting mugged." I sighed back, I could feel tears creeping at the back of my eyes. I just wanted everyone to be calm. "Thanks to you, we have money for a cab." Gerard smiled, I almost burst into tears then. "Yeah, I guess I've done some good. It was actually good to see you, gee." I spoke. I was careful to sound calm.
Gerard knew me, he would be able to tell when I'd cry. "It was good to see you too, (Y/n/n)." He said, he patted my back. Gerard and Scott walked off for about 2 blocks before they disappeared. 
I went to my sisters, "I'm sorry about earlier, I'm sorry about everything. I know tonight was supposed to be important, and I took away you guy's spotlight." I rubbed my head in frustration. My sisters sighed, "It's fine, you missed me getting proposed too and saying yes, but it's fine. Be the hero you were meant to be." Taurus said, my jaw dropped, "Especially for Gerard." Lilith finished. I looked between the 2 of them then at Ray. He just looked away, as if I weren't there.
"C-can I see your ring?" I asked, shocked. Taurus put her hand forward and I saw. On her ring finger there was a beautiful thin silver band that held a great light green diamond, smaller black diamonds surrounding it. If my jaw could drop any further it did. "It...it's beautiful Taurie, I'm so sorry I missed a moment like that. I'm so so sorry." I felt my chest burning with guilt. "You got my father's blessing?" I asked. Ray just nodded. "Oh my god..." I felt the first tear fall. "Don't feel so bad, just don't miss my proposal." Lilith said.
I was too busy trying to cover my sobbing, "I'll make up for this, I promise." I said, hugging my sisters. I couldn't believe my reactions, my sister was marring my ex-bestfriend and I was crying. I was sad I missed his proposal, no, I was sad I missed such a milestone for my sibling. This isn't about Ray, not one bit. "Oh you will, you and dad have to walk me down the aisle." Taurus shrugged. 
I stifled my crying for a second, "And I'll be happy to do it, Taurie." I fixed my hair and wiped my tears. "You can try to give her the world, but she deserves the stars." I said, pointing at Ray. He frowned his brow at me. "You both do," I said. "You don't know what I can give her." Ray scoffed. "I know what my sister deserves, though." I replied. 
"Implying I'm not good enough, (Y/n)?" He asked. "I'm Implying that she should be more than happy. Toro, you can think I'm Implying anything, just take care of her." I breathed out sharply, our eyes met and I felt my head start to ache. "You're a good sibling." Ray said, calmly. "Thank you, I'm trying my best." I even calmer. If he was gonna be an ass, I was gonna match his energy. He could hate me all he wants, but for the sake of my sister's happiness I'd make sure she never had to see that. 
Just then I heard mom and dad stop their arguing. "He's fine, he's a hero, and he's doing better here than at home." Dad finally said. My back straightened, "Mom, dad, I'm going back to the hotel, you need to be with your other kids right now." I said, mom rushed over to me. "Fine but don't take any unnecessary risk, you already almost got shot." Mom said, hugging me. "I didn't ma, I snuck up on him." I explained, hugging her back. "I'll be safe, take this time to be happy with Taurie." I said. Dad came over and patted my back, "I know it was dangerous, I never want you to do that again, but I'm proud of you. You did good." He spoke. I nodded, "Thank you, dad."
They all got into the truck with Mom and Dad, and I hailed a cab back to the hotel. Where I called Mikey, I needed to hear an understanding voice.

A/n: I'm back, it took me forever to have time to even think of writing. I've been either out and about with friends or working my ass off. But the war is over I will be moving into a new house in 2 weeks and I will have a little bit more time to enjoy writing again. Thank you all for haging on and waiting for me-Vamp
