He didn't know what she had been calling him recently, but she said it with such a soft tone that it still made his heart flutter. He nodded and gave her a smooth smile. "Okay."

Aspyn flicked off her lights as she exited, knowing he liked to sleep with minimal light. As soon as she began to walk down the stairs, her presence was noticed.

"Good morning, Aspyn!" Niki cheered, sat at the island with Wilbur and Tubbo. They each smiled at her, with Tubbo waving from his spot furthest from the stairs.

"Good morning!" She greeted back. The faint smell of pancakes was in the air and she began to worry, until she noticed Dream was behind the stove with Karl and Alex.

Across the table, there was two boxes of donuts and a bulk of different coffee orders— each with a name written on it. Aspyn grabbed her own and thanked her friends, then proceeded to grab two donuts and placed them in an air-tight glass container from a cupboard. She hid the container on the side of a counter and grabbed her own honey-dipped donut.

Tommy scoffed, "I don't understand why we had to wake up so fucking early for this." He paused and eyed Aspyn's donut, before throwing his hands in the air. "And why did Angel steal all the donuts?" He huffed.

She gave him a deadpanned look as she took a bite of the sweet treat. "It's not all for me— I'm saving it for when George wakes up. You know he wakes up hungry," she reasoned with him. Karl had a smile as he overheard the conversation, realizing that his friend was picking up on his habits. He wondered if she said anything to him about her crush, since they hadn't talked about it since she arrived to California.

"Yeah, Tommy. And to answer your first question, we're bonding." Wilbur huffed. Tommy spat out a profanity, but it was clear he was happy to be around his friends.

Quickly eating her breakfast, Aspyn slipped back into her room to find a sleeping George cuddled in her own blankets, soft unintelligible murmurs falling from his narrowly parted lips. She observed him for a moment, and with the sun dancing on his radiant skin, she plucked her pen and began to sketch.

Her sketchbook had pages of sketches of her friends, sketches of moments she never wanted to forget. She wanted to be able to look back and remember exactly how she felt in the moment, even when they would be thousands of miles apart after the two weeks were up.

There were drawings of everyone, but lately, George seemed to fill up the majority of her pages.

Aspyn moved towards him, brushing away his hair with soft nudges from her fingers. She shakes him lightly, his eyes fluttering open.

"Hi," she giggled at his baby-like face, her hand moving to his cheek. His larger hand took over when he placed it over hers, holding it in place. "C'mon, get up. Everyone's having breakfast."

He shook his head and pulled her onto the bed easily and stuffing his face in the crook of her neck. Aspyn was a blushing mess in the position they were in, and her skin burned from his touch. "Five minutes," he murmured, and she could feel his breath on her bare shoulders.

She rolled her eyes but didn't bother to force down the smile that had appeared on her face. "Stubborn boy," she muttered as she ran her fingers through his hair, his breath evening out once more.
