Ash's POV,
                          
Our face was close to each other. She was the first one to break the eye contact when her phone buzzed. I looked at her when she dropped her phone in shock..whats wrong...?
                          
Misty:'' Dad..?''
                          
DAD??? Misty's dad??? The King...? She didn't know what to say, she was still in shock.... I kept a hand on her shoulder she finally snapped out of it.
                          
Ash:'' Misty..?''
                          
Misty:'' I have to go!''
                          
Ash:'' hey!''
                          
She almost opened the gate, when she realized we were still inside the Ferris wheel. She picked up her phone and when we reached the ground she dashed out of there. I ran after her. She ran to stop a cab. I grabbed her hand. Because, she was really panicked.
                          
Ash:'' Let me come with you!''
                          
Misty:'' I cannot!''
                          
She said no right away, but I can't possibly let her go on her own.
                          
Ash:'' What if it's some kind of trap it's not 12 yet, that's why I can't let you go.''
                          
Misty sighed.
                          
Misty:'' But...''
                          
Ash:'' Trust me!''
                          
I sat inside the car with her. She was rubbing her hands really hard. I holded her hands to comfort her.
                          
Ash:'' If you don't want to go, then don't''
                          
She looked at me.
                          
Misty:'' What do you even know..?''
                          
Ash:'' I know it. I told you, I know you well....I know...Anyhow if you don't want to-''
                          
Misty:'' I have to! I have never seen my father ever!!''
                          
She got almost teary. I hugged. I was surprised that there were so many moments that I haven't knew she suffered alone. I should be with her now. I cannot let her go....when she wants me.... I didn't notice she hugged me back. Sometimes, you just need someone to be there on whom you can cry and rely on.....
                          
The car stopped and we got off. The place was highly guarded a man walked up to us. The place was a bit far away from the city. He bowed to Misty.
                          
Man:'' You must be Miss....Misty? I am Butler Jo! Please follow me, Master has been expecting you.''
                          
We followed the butler. He opened the door and blocked me to enter any further. Misty looked at me and......
                          
Misty:'' He is a...friend!''
                          
Butler:'' but...........''
                          
Man inside the room:'' Let them enter!''
                          
He had a very strong and deep voice. I saw entered after Misty and saw him.....He was the one who forced his throne to Misty... This was our 2nd meeting....Our 1st meeting was......bad! 
                          
FLASHBACK:-
                          
Ash:'' BUT! THERE IS SOMETHING WRONG!''
                          
Misty's father:'' Young man, you seem to feel this way because my daughter is the heir right?!! Sometimes you should know where to give up!''
                          
Ash:'' MISTY! CANNOT, WILL NEVER ACCEPT THAT!!''
                          
Misty's father:'' Love is nothing but a mere thing which is followed by disaster!''
                          
Ash:'' YOU ARE WRONG! LOOK AT YOURSELF!! YOU ARE FORCING YOURSELF ON YOUR DAUGHTER!!! ARE YOU PUSHING YOUR DECISION ON HER?''
                          
He looked at me glaring at me...
                          
Misty's father:'' You will at least see her! Or perhaps do you want to disappear from her world forever? If not.....never show up with that love nonsense again! Focus on the league if you are so desperate!''
                          
END OF FLASHBACK.
                          
I frowned and clenched my fist. I fought trying to be on her side.... but if the results were really changed.... was it him..? 
                          
Misty:'' Are....you really my.....father?''
                          
Misty's father(King):'' Misty...my daughter...''
                          
He stood up to hug Misty but she backed off.
                          
Misty:'' Why did you show up now?''
                          
King:'' Misty, I did everything to protect you, hide my identity for years just to save you from the bad fate only to make you come to light when it is the right time!''
                          
Misty:'' Wh....at? Who...are you?''
                          
King:'' I am the king of the seven regions. Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos.., Jhoto and Alola region.''
                          
Misty covered her mouth in shock with her eyes widened.
                          
Misty:'' No way..!''
                          
King:'' Misty, I loved your mother so much! She died protecing you, I.....had no choice but to give up on you for sometime.''
                          
Misty:'' Give up on me? Was I an item? Did my sisters knew all along?''
                          
King:'' Misty....they aren't your real sisters!''
                          
Misty went speechless. I didnt know this either. Surprisingly, I never met with her sisters after she was publicly announced.
                          
Misty:'' They....aren't?''
                          
King:'' I had to do it!''
                          
Misty:'' why did you disappear when you cared so much?!!!!''
                          
King:'' I had no choice!
                          
Misty:'' Then you shouldn't have shown up!''
                          
King:'' I cannot, I am so sorry! But, I need you now! You are the only heir! You have to take the throne....now!''
                          
I stood there with a serious look. I stood there looking directly at him.
                          
Ash:'' Now that you know your time is coming to an end, you are using your daughter now?''
                          
All of them looked at my direction. Even Misty.
                          
Ash:'' Just admit it! You knew if the people finds out you have no heir you will either be killed, or you will be pushed out of the throne.''
                          
King:'' That...is not the case!''
                          
Ash:'' A man who couldn't even promise his daughter's safety! You aren't a king! You are just living with fear of being looked down on!''
                          
He looked at me with surprise.
                          
Ash:'' If I have to say...don't do it! A person who never cared about you, will only use and throw you away with time.''
                          
I looked at Misty and left the room and stood outside the building. Few minutes later, I heard footsteps behind me.
                          
Misty:'' Don't tell anyone about this..''
                          
Ash:'' So, you are gonna consider it..?''
                          
Misty:'''Do I have a choice?''
                          
Ash:'' OF COURSE YOU DO!''
                          
I looked at her with desperate eyes.
                          
Ash:'' Back away, when you have time in your hand if it passes away you will only regret it!''
                          
Misty didn't look at me. Is....her decision not gonna change? Does it mean I failed to change her fate...? No...Its too soon to think anything! 
                          
Ash:'' Fine. I'll keep it a secret! But, remember they will find out even if I hide it...''
                          
Misty:'' Thanks....Lets head back!''
                          
I wanted to spend time with you and enjoy it to the fullest, but....in the end....are we gonna end up miserable? At least this time lets survive.....
                          
Misty:'' Will you stop staring at me?''
                          
Huh? I didn't notice I have been looking at her. I scratched the back of my head.
                          
Misty:'' Cute...''
                          
She whispered.
