Ri: Mr.Oberoi you here?...she asked confusingly, while Anika made irritated face seeing him there.
                          
Shiv: this should be my question for you...well i live here, now tell me what made you come here?
                          
Ri: her brother Mr.Aarav have flat in this apartment.
                          
Shiv: yehh...i know that but that flat is locked from the time i came here, i guess no one lives there.
                          
Ri: yes...no one live but Anika wants to stay there till your case gets solved, but guess what the secretary who haves key of that flat went on vacation and also living in hotel in Mumbai isn't safe for a girl.
                          
Shiv: ohh...that's the problem...then you can stay with me in my flat till you get keys if you want...he offered genuinely.
                          
Ani: thanks but no thanks Mr.Oberoi, Riddhi let's go i will stay in hotel.
                          
Shiv: one minute, what do you mean by i will? aren't you gonna stay with her?...he asked Riddhi.
                          
Ri: no, i will be staying with my bf.
                          
Ani: if your interrogation is done can we leave Mr.Oberoi?...she asked sarcastically.
                          
Ri: Anika, choose between two either you are coming with me to Jay's place or stay with Mr.Oberoi...you are not gonna live in hotel that too alone, are you answering or should i call Aarav  bhai?
                          
Ani: fine i will stay with him, till i gets keys...i don't wanna interfere in your privacy only this is the reason i am staying with him...she said looking at Shivay's face who were smiling inwardly.
                          
He knew she wants to stay with him, but will she accept it?...a big no...he chuckled seeing she still fears from Aarav.
                          
Ri: ok then...i will take leave saying she about to go when Anika held her hand.
                          
Ani: stay with me till Jay comes...she pleads through eyes...making him chuckle again...she is getting scare as if he will eat her raw or its her first time she will be with him alone.
                          
Ri: ok...fine.
                          
They move towards Shivay's flat.
                          
Shiv: be comfortable...he said after entering in house.
                          
Both girls settle down on couch.
                          
Ri: Mr.Oberoi can i get a glass of water...she asked feeling thirsty and on the top of that Shivay isn't giving them water himself like anyone offer to guests.
                          
Shiv: ohh.. Sure i am sorry...i should gave you before itself...he said awkwardly and moves in kitchen.
                          
Coming back with the glass of waters, he gave one to Riddhi and about to give second Anika, when Riddhi stops him.
                          
Ri: no...don't give her...actually she always drink nimbu pani first after long journey.
                          
Shiv: i know...yours is water and this is nimbu pani...he said without realising what he uttered, while Anika gives him 'what you spoke' look and start thinking what to answer, as surely Riddhi gonna question him.
                          
Ri: how do you know about her habit? Why do i feel you guys know each other already...she asked being suspicious. 
                          
Shivay glance Anika for help which she ignored royally.   
                          
Shiv: usually, people drinks this to end jet leg so i guessed....after thinking for few seconds he blabbered whatever reason came in his mind that time.  
                          
Ri: may be...by the way she brought me through car as flights weren't available....she wasn't full convinced. 
                          
Shivay looks at her shockingly, while she turns her gaze to avoid him...he knew she is mad behind him but this is really too much...she took so many efforts just to save him.
                          
Ri: any ways...i am leaving Anu, Jay is downstairs he messaged me...ok Mr.Oberoi...meet you tomorrow for case discussion...saying she went out.
                          
Silence spreads in the hall, as both Anika-Shivay looking at each other without exchanging a word, no one is getting awkward off course who will be awkward to the person you know from ages.
                          
Ani: Mr.Oberoi, where should i keep my belongings...finally Anika broke the silence.
                          
Shiv: you can take the room beside mine...by the way what is this Mr.Oberoi....call me what were you used to.
                          
Ani: i am here to prove your innocence not mine, so if you maintain professionalism it will be good for both of us...she said breaking his heart and went to check her room, while he switch on tv knowing she needs time to adjust with him again.
                          
She come after sometime and sits beside him, again the same news flashed showing intimate scenes of Shivay and Shanaya...he stares Anika for few seconds before changing the channel.
                          
Ani: i will be just back...saying she quickly runs to her room before he could stop her.
                          
He knew it was her last string of patience, so he also followed her back, she wasn't in room but sound of flowing water coming from washroom.
                          
He moves towards washroom, as usual she didn't locked the door. The scene in front his eyes pierce his heart.
                          
Shiv: Anika...Anika stand up come on...he said pulling Anika up who was leaning to basin being without any moment, emotionless.
                          
Finally he gets succeed to making her stand...he drags her under the shower and turns it on.
                          
Anika is still standing immobile, he knew he has to assure her that he is hers....Shivay belongs to Anika only.
                          
Without wasting more time, he kissed on her forehead...his lips against her skin literally did its magic, she blink her eyes trying to adjust them in flowing water.
                          
Slowly he cups her face and kissed on her eyes and cheeks...she close in eyes anticipation, keeping her hands on his shoulder grabbing him tightly assuring herself he is really there with her.   
                          
Moving down he started pampering light kisses on her chin to neck, her breath started getting heavy making him sigh as she started responding.
                          
His eyes went on her lips, a desire of grabbing them into his lips come in his mind. He was about to place his lips on hers but she pushed him back.
                          
Both were drenched, he realised what he actually did...he closed his eyes to curse himself mentally and went out not before mumbling a sorry to Anika. 
  
Shivay was laying on bed, trying to get some sleep.
                          
"pehle yaha nahi thi, tab neend nahi aati thi...aur aaj itne pass hai phir bhi meri neend usike pass hai" he thought.
(before i won't used to get sleep as she wasn't with her....but now she is here just beside this room still his sleep is far away from his eyes.
