You stood outside the building, while having texting him you would do so.

10 minutes past as your eyes were covered by someone.

"Guess." Whispered.

"My idiot boyfriend. Who else?" You teased.

He released his hands off your arms as he walked in front of you, because he was behind you while covering your eyes.

"Congratulations kuroo!" You smiled leaning into him to give him a kiss.

"Thank you sweetheart." He smiled as he tilted his head towards you to show you the top of his graduate hat. In the top left hand side, there was a heart with the letter
(f/l of f/n) and the letter k beside it.

"Kuroo you didn't!" You smiled.

"Mhm. You're my most important memory of highschool." He cheered.

You took him in for another, tight long hug before he did the same with his mother.

"Picture time?" You asked his mother who nodded.

You took a picture of kuroo and his mother in front of the building, and then at a nearby park.

His mother also took plenty of pictures of kuroo smiling while holding your hand, running around the park and just being stupid.

He'd taken off his robe and cap, so now he was just regular kuroo in his suit which matched your dress.

"Okay guys now get together right there." Kuroos mother told you and kuroo pointing to two rocks sticking out of the ground with flowers surrounding it.

Kuroo got on top of it, holding his hand down to help you up. He helped you up and you stood next to him on the rock.

"Now smile." Kuroos mother pointed her camera towards you as you leant even closer to kuroo for the picture.

You felt his arm wrap around your waist, resting on your lower hip.

His mother took the picture, and kuroo slapped your hip lightly as he got off the rock, standing in front of it.

"Jump." He smiled.

You leapt forwards, kuroo catching you in his arms as he twirled you around once, putting you gently on the ground.

The park you were in was beautiful. You took plenty of pictures with kuroo, and took some of kuroo and his mother as well. You would place your camera on a ledge, and take a picture, the three of you together, with you in the middle, then with kuroo in the middle. It was like you were kuroos mothers daughter. She was so sweet and gentle, and she was so happy to see you and kuroo together.

You walked with Kuroo and his mother around the area, taking pictures and then back to her car. She would drive kuroo to the lunch in, and you home.

You got into his car, sitting in the back seat. Suprised, you moved a little as Kuroo hopped into the back seat with you.

"Why you not sitting shotgun?" You asked as he closed the door next to him.

"I'd rather sit with you." He smiled putting on his seatbelt.

You did the same as kuroos mother didn't question why he was sitting at the back.

You didn't know what to do. It was kind of awkward sitting in the back seat with his mother in the front.

You pulled your headphone case from your bra and popped the lid open, to show the AirPods.

"Nice pocket." He joked.

"Yeah well it's not my fault I don't wanna carry it." You said a little embarrassed.

"You want one?" You asked taking the right AirPod out and putting your hand with the AirPod in front of him.

"Boob AirPod? Don't mind if I do." He took it out of your hand putting it into his right ear.

You gave his chest a little slap while rolling your eyes playfully. You popped the left AirPod into your left ear and went into your music app.

You turned on the perfect song for how you were feeling right now. 'Out of my league'

Kuroo looked at you before turning the other direction with a relaxed face.

"You are out of my league mmmm" you began slowly, humming in between lyrics as you had your eyes closed.

"You are just the right kind." Kuroo hummed next to you, lightly grabbing onto your hand, holding it gently in his own.

"You are more than just a dream." You smiled, opening your eyes, looking at kuroo.

He was looking at you with the same expression.

"I love you." He whispered just loud enough so his mother couldn't hear him.

"That wasn't the next lyric." You joked. "But, I can never get sick of those three words." You smiled.

"I love you." He repeated.

"I love you too." You laid your head back, still holding onto his hand.

Kuroos mother was too busy listening to her old music that you didn't like in the slightest to hear your conversation or see what was happening with you and Kuroo.

A few more songs played as his mother gently tapped your leg.

"Sweetheart we're at your home." You took off the left AirPod, noticing the right one was in your ear as well.

"Where's kuroo?" You asked, putting both airpods back into their case.

"He already went to the lunch in. He didn't want to be emotional while going, and having to leave you, so he just gave you a kiss and left." She smiled

"I understand. I'll see him later tonight, plus I wouldn't want him becoming emotional on his big day." You cheered yourself up as you unbuckled your seat belt.

"Kuroo will pick you up later tonight for the dance. Go eat something (y/n) I don't want you running on an empty stomach." Kuroos mother nodded as you opened the door.

"Thank you so much. I'll make sure to eat well. See you soon!" You smiled as you got out of the car.

Closing the door, you walked to your front door. His mother had waved to you through the window of the car as you did the same from the porch. She then drove off.
