The following Friday party Rowan and Novah were looking forward to was coming fast. Now in their dorm freaking out over what to wear Rowan throwing clothes everywhere.
                          
"What do we wear? Skirt? Dress? Pants?" Rowan asked Novah, panicking since she has never been to a student party before.
                          
"I'm gonna wear a skirt. I think you would look good in a dress." Novah said, looking in Rowan's closet to help her. "Your dress choices are quite sad." she deadpanned.
                          
"I know but that's because i never go anywhere." Rowan huffed sitting down on her bed.
                          
"Oh wait this is nice" Novah said pulling out the only short dress Rowan owns.
                          
"I've never had use for this until now." Rowan said holding the dress up looking at it
                          
"Okay well you get dressed and I'm gonna quickly do my hair." Rowan and Novah walked down the hallway to the Gryffinor common room, which neither of the girls have ever been to.
                          
"Maybe we shouldn't. I'm gonna do something stupid and embarrass myself" Rowan said trying to turn around by Novah halted her.
                          
"Uh uh uh." She grabbed Rowan's hand and led them into the flashing common room that was blasting "Killer Queen" , a muggle song, and smelled like firewhiskey and sweat. "Look there are the boys" Novah said, still holding Rowan's arm, leading them through people dancing and drinking.
                          
Sirius stopped mid sip of his drink to look at the girl standing awkwardly in front of him. "Bloody hell you look great." he blurted out to Rowan.
                          
James snorted a  "Charming" he said standing up to look for Lily 
                          
"Thank you Sirius." Rowan said sitting down next to the boy
                          
They looked over to Novah and Remus dancing to the song and laughing. "Novah really likes Remus, I hope they end up together by the end of the night." Rowan said to Sirius
                          
"Me too. He never shuts his trap about her" the boy said. "Would you like to dance?"
                          
Rowan stared at the hand he offered with wide eyes. "Sirius I can't dance for the life of me." she said baffled
                          
 "Then let me teach you." he said, taking her to the floor and swaying with her to the song 'All the young dudes'. "See you're doing great,'' he said as he held her hips, her hands on his shoulders.
                          
As the song came to an end Rowan took her hands off of his shoulders. "Im gonna get a drink. I'll see you back on the couch." Srius nodded and walked away
                          
Walking over to the table she poured some firewhisky into a glass "You look most ravishing" Drew Mclaggen said making his way next to Rowan. The girl simply ignored him and turned to walk away but he grabbed her arm.
                          
"Oh c'mon give me one dance." he said, distracting her from the other side of the room where Scarlett was leading Sirius into the hall.
                          
"Absolutely not." Rowan said with a look of disgust on his face.
                          
Drew went to grab her hands but was stopped when she dumped her firewhiskey on him. "What the hell!" he yelled wiping his face
                          
"Haven't you been told not to touch people?" Rowan sneered
                          
Lily And Novah saw the commotion and came over. "Drew isn't it your bedtime?" Lily asked the alcohol covered boy. "Cmon Rowan lets go find Sirius." Rowan walked alongside Novah and Lily over to the seating area where most couples were snogging.
                          
"He isn't over here." Lily said looking around."I could've sworn I've seen him." the girl looked over at Peter who sat with a bored expression. "Peter have you seen Sirius?"
                          
"He left a couple minutes ago and walked out into the hall." Peter said, shrugging his shoulders.
                          
"Alright, he probably went to get rid of the noise." Rowan said to the girls before turning to walk out with them.
                          
They walked just outside the painted door before stopping in their tracks wide eyed at the sight of Sirius kissing Scarlett.
                          
"Are you kidding me?" Rowan asked, looking at Sirius.
                          
"No- Rowan wait" Sirius said but it was to late she was storming down the stairs Novah following behind her
                          
Lily looked at him with a glare. "There better be an explanation for this." she said before turning the way Rowan and Novah went.

A/n
I'm officially on spring break until April 6th so I plan to finish this story. It will maybe 3-4 chapters more. For my next story I think I'm gonna write a Alice Cullen x Oc. Let me know your thoughts.
