"Dad!" I shouted, holding my daggers close to me as I ran over to him.

"Casey!" He wrapped his arms around me, and I flinched but played it off like I was fine, "I'm so sorry for lying to you. I should have told you the truth, and we're going to, but-"

"Dad, it's okay. I understand why you kept it a secret. I'm not mad." I said, and he smiled at me.

"Casey?" I turn around and see Brett. "What are you doing here?"

"My dad owns this place. I didn't realize you were a part of Satomi's pack. Actually, I know nothing about you besides from the fact that you're a werewolf." I said, rambling a bit.

"You look just like her." I turn and see a Japanese woman with dried blood on her face. "My name is Satomi." She holds out her hand to me, and I take it.

"I'm Casey," I said, and she smiles at me. "Derek said you knew my grandmother."

"I did. Cordelia was a wonderful woman. A free spirit. You have her power." She said, and I nodded. "She told me about you before she died. She was so happy. A little girl with so much life in her eyes, but she had to grow up without her family."

"Yeah. My birth dad told me why. It was to protect me." I said, and she took something out.

"I had a small feeling I'd be meeting you, and I've had this on me ever since." She held out a journal to me, and I saw a 'C' on it in cursive. "This belonged to Cordelia. She entrusted it to me fifteen years ago, and she wanted you to have it. In there, it will tell you more about who you are. Use it wisely." She told me, and I gently take it from her, touching the cover of it.

"Thank you," I said to her, and she nodded.

"Of course. I'm glad that her spirit lives on in you. But you are not like her. You've lived a different life. But that makes you even more special." She told me, and I smiled.

"After all of this is over... I would really like to talk to you again. I want to know more about my grandmother." I said.

"That is if we get out of this alive."

"I have this small feeling that my brother is up to something," I tell her, and Derek puts his hand on my shoulder.

"I'm sorry, but I have to go. But it was nice to meet you." I said.

"You as well." She smiled at me, and I turn around to look at my dad.

"What's wrong, squirt?" He asked me, and I shook my head.

"Later. For now, help Scott protect Satomi and her pack. I love you, Dad." I hug him, and he kissed the top of my head.

"I love you too, squirt. Stay safe." He told me, and I nodded.

"I promise," I said, pulling away from him, and I follow after Derek.

"Hi, can you tell me where Sheriff Stilinski is?" I asked one of the deputies, and he barely glanced at me.

"He's busy." He said.

"Can you be a bit more specific?" I asked him politely.

"He's busy."

"Okay, well, can you-"

"No." He said, shooting me down immediately.

"I'm sorry, I don't think we've met. I'm Casey, the sheriff's daughter." I hold out my hand to him, and he looked at me in shock, and I knew he was a newbie because I didn't see him here a few months ago. "Don't like handshakes? That's fine. Now can you tell me where my dad is?"
