"Right. I need to go, I assume?" Shouta wanted to know. Y/N nodded quickly and got out of bed, grabbing some of her clothes from last night and shoving them into a laundry bag that was hanging from her door. It was then that they heard a knock. Y/N froze in shock, as the door opened.
"Y/N, mum told me to wake you up, she's going to leave in- oh."
Shouta wasn't even sure what to do right now. After all, he was still half-lying, half-sitting in Y/N's bed, not wearing a shirt and looking at her gathering up some clothes. And at the door was a tall and thin guy, that looked strangely familiar. Was that... her younger brother? Pai? Was that his name?
Y/N took a deep breath and quickly grabbed his arm and pulled him into her room, closing the door behind him, before burying her face in her hands. No one was saying anything and it was really awkward, but Shouta really, really had to cough. He just couldn't hold it back any longer. But thankfully that broke the tense silence in the room rather quickly. Y/N sighed first.
"Alright, Pai, if mum hears of any of this you're fucking dead." she said. Her brother just nodded.
"Right... You know what I want, yeah?" he asked. Y/N groaned in frustration and Shouta had never felt this uncomfortable.
"What do you want, Pai?"
"I want all the juicy details. What is going on in here? Who is this? And why is he not wearing a shirt? And what's with those hickeys?" he wanted to know. Shouta wasn't sure if he was supposed to say something or not. He really wished that he was at least wearing a shirt or something.
"Uhm. I'm Shouta Aizawa. If that helps." he said. Both Y/N and Pai were looking at him, as if they had forgotten he was still there. Shouta cleared his throat and pointed at something white on the floor.
"Can... can you hand me my shirt, Y/N? This is slightly uncomfortable." he muttered. Y/N chuckled a little and grabbed the shirt from the floor before handing it to him. Shouta had never been so grateful to have a shirt.
"Okay, Shouta Aizawa, what are you doing in my sister's room? I want the whole story." Pai said with a big grin on his face.
"He stayed here overnight, because it was too late for him to go home. Now help me get him out of here, before mum notices." Y/N replied. Pai was grinning widely and shook his head. He was clearly enjoying this.
"Not so fast. I mean it's pretty obvious that he stayed here overnight, but like who is he? Aizawa does ring a bell, to be honest..." he said. Y/N massaged her temples and took another deep breath.
"Shouta Aizawa. I clean his house pretty regularly. He's also my boyfriend. We went on a date last night. You better not tell mum or you'll never be able to do gymnastics again, because I will break every single bone in your body, I swear to God, Pai." she answered. Pai just nodded.
"Right. So you're hooking up with rich guys now? Never would have thought you'd betray your ideals like that. Is this some sort of ploy to get money, Y/N?" he wanted to know. Y/N shook her head.
"Of course not. Pai, listen, I really like him, okay? This is... this is serious. So I'd really appreciate it if you cooperate with me here, alright?" she replied. Pai nodded, as if he was thinking about it.
"Alright. Alright... I hear you. You take my chores for the next month. Deal?" he suggested. Y/N scoffed.
"The next month? Are you crazy? I already go and work so you can go to your training." she protested.
"Yeah, and if I get good we all get to share the money for it, so that's not an argument." he told her.
"One week."
"Three weeks."
"Two weeks. Last offer."
"Alright. Two weeks of doing all my chores around the home and I'll help you." Pai finally agreed. Shouta felt like he was intruding on something, but he also had nowhere else to go right now.
"Good. I'm glad we can come to an agreement on this." Y/N said and looked back at Shouta with a smile.
"So what do you need help with?" Pai wanted to know.
"Right. I need to get him out of here pretty much an hour ago. Without mum noticing anything. Or dad, if he's still here. But I also need to get ready, because I only have like 40 minutes left and I need to shower, because I stink." Y/N answered. Pai chuckled and nodded.
"Yeah, I noticed."
"Oh, shut the fuck up. Anyway, can you do that for me?" she wanted to know. Pai nodded quickly.
"Sure thing. I got your back, sis. Go and say goodbye to your boy toy and then get a shower, cause you really fucking need it." he replied. Y/N rolled her eyes and quickly headed over to the bed.
"Please don't ever call me 'sis' again. I fucking hate you so much, so turn around and don't make any stupid comments." she said to her brother, before turning back to Shouta with a smile. Shouta had no idea how to react to any of this. He had no siblings or anything comparable, so this was wild to him. He had no fucking clue how siblings even worked, but that wasn't what he had imagined.
"Sorry for the awkwardness. I'll leave you in the capable hands of my brother, okay? He can be a bit of a dick, but he's generally a nice person. I'll see you tomorrow, okay?" she said. Shouta just nodded, before she pressed a quick kiss to his lips and got back up again. Everything just seemed to happen really fast right now. Shouta didn't even know what was happening, before she was out of the door.
"Right, lover boy. Go and get dressed and get your things and while you do that, I'm going to have to ask you a few questions, because I really don't trust you around my sister. It might not seem like it, but I do care about her a lot and I don't want to see her hurt in any way, shape or form." he said.
Shouta gulped and nodded, getting out of bed and buttoning up his shirt quickly while Pai was watching him intently. He really wished Y/N hadn't left her alone with her brother, because no matter how Shouta thought about this, Pai could be really scary if he wanted to be.
"So, Y/N seems to be really serious about this whole thing. Are you serious about her, too?" he wanted to know.
"O-Of course, I am. I don't want to see her hurt, either. I know you probably don't trust me much, but..."
"This has nothing to do with trust. I just want to make sure that Y/N is okay. So just tell me one thing and we can get going: Why her? What does a rich boy like you want with someone like my sister? My sister who's active in the union and who despises rich people? What do you want from her?" he asked. Shouta gulped. He hadn't really thought about any of this before, if he was honest.
"I just... I really like her, okay? She's... she's so smart and confident and I love how she always stands her ground. And I know she hates rich people and I... I don't even know why she likes me, but I mean... it's not my fault that I was born into the family I was born into. It's not my fault they have money. And I might be a bit ignorant, but I'm really trying not to be. I really like Y/N and if it means I have to give up whatever wealth I have because of my family I'd be fine with it." he replied. Pai nodded slowly and then chuckled a little, shaking his head quickly.
"You clearly have no idea what you're talking about, but at least you seem very dedicated to her. Which is weird in its own right, but whatever. I'm not judging... Well, I am judging, but I'm trying not to make a big deal of it." he replied. Shouta had finally managed to gather up all his things in the meantime.
"Okay, so how do we get out of here now? Without raising suspicion?" he wanted to know. Pai grinned.
"Easy, we just pretend you stayed over with me. We can pretend that we were working on some sort of school project or something. Just don't say too much, don't give your name and let me do the talking. Pretend to be in a hurry, because your parents are expecting you home. Got it?" Pai asked. Shouta nodded.
"Sure. Thanks for helping me out."
"Oh, I'm not helping you out. I'm not doing this for you. I'm doing this for Y/N and for her alone."
"O-okay. Sure."
"Right. Let's get going."
