Self-doubt, Self-harm (kinda) and Blood lust

Dream leaned against the wall of the prison. The clock sat in the middle of the room surrounded by raw potatoes. He had officially gone insane. He wasn't sure what he wanted to get out of doing this, but the art looked nice. Well, Dream wasn't sure what art even looked like anymore. It felt like he'd been locked within these walls for a lifetime.

Tommy visited him sometimes. It was normally just to tell him how stupid he was. Honestly, he enjoyed the company. Despite Tommy just spending the entire time yelling and laughing at him, he enjoyed conversing with someone. It was something he didn't get to do often. Sam was strict about who and what was brought into the cell. His only food source was raw potatoes and his only entertainment was the clock that was now hanging from the wall again. If it broke, Dream wouldn't know what to do with himself.

He also liked to role play. It sounded stupid, and it was, but he would imagine he was other members of the server. Sometimes, it would become so real that he could feel everything the person was feeling. He'd been doing this for a while now and the more he did it, the easier it got. It also got a lot more real.

Tubbo POV -

The bee boy sat on the edge of the ice. His legs dangled in the ice-cold water as he contemplated previous choices he made during his presidency. The numbness was spreading through his legs but he paid no mind to it.

Ranboo was coming back to Snowchester after staying with Techno for a week. He missed the enderman hybrid. They'd grown closer over the past months and he was one of the few people he trusted with his life. Ranboo was always there for him, even when Tommy wasn't. During his presidency, Ranboo had been the only one who didn't yell at the boy and tell him how worthless he was. Instead, he had motivated him, kept him living.

He was close to death during that time. His self-esteem was non-existent and he had no reason to keep going. Quackity would've taken over as president and done a much better job than him. So why hadn't he just left? That's exactly what he was asking himself now. Ranboo had other things to worry about, he didn't need the burden of being Tubbo's friend. No one did.

His legs were completely numb now he couldn't move them even if he wanted to. Which he didn't. The pain was good. He deserved it. He should've ended it long ago. The only reason he was living was because of Ranboo. If Ranboo wasn't here, then Tubbo wouldn't be here. It was that simple.

Tubbo felt weird. Like his head was splitting into two. One part he could control and one part was someone else. He held his head in his hands, grimacing at the pain. What was happening?! He was losing feeling in his body. A menacing voice echoed in his head;

Hello Tubbo~

"What are you doing? Who are you?" he cried while pulling at his hair.

It's me Tubbo. You know who I am~

"D-dream?"

There we go~

"But you're in prison, why are you in my head? Get out, GET OUT!" Tubbo screamed, tears fell as he pulled out small clumps of his hair.

You're mine now Tubbo. My work is beyond your understanding. But feel free to watch this server fail~

"No. What do you mean? Dream?! Answer m-" he was cut off by a slicing pain. It didn't last long. It was like a knife was run down his head and then instantly healed.

Then he just wasn't in a body at all. He was floating. His body sat on the ground below him as he watched on with pure confusion. What was this? Why wasn't he in his body? It was slumped over as though it was dead. Maybe Tubbo was dead and he was just a ghost watching over everyone. How would he have died though? Nothing had happened. Its head moved. His body was moving. How?

Dre's POV -

It worked. It actually worked. He had successfully taken over Tubbos body. Dream could now talk through Tubbo using the boy's voice. Meaning that he could do anything he wanted and it would be blamed on Tubbo. This is amazing. The urge for blood swelled up in him. He tried to stand but soon discovered that his legs were completely numb. What the hell was Tubbo doing?

Dream groaned in annoyance and flopped back down onto the ice. He waited for the feeling to return. Meanwhile, he hatched a plan.

Since Snowchester was so far away from the main smp, no one was likely to come over anytime soon. This meant he had plenty of time to kill those vacating in the snowy biome.

Jack. Jack was unobservant. He normally kept to himself and in his own thoughts so much, that he didn't have any suspicion of anyone. If someone were acting a little differently he wouldn't even bat an eye.

Easy target.

Foolish. He was new to the server and how it worked. Even though he'd spent a reasonable amount of time with Tubbo, it's unlikely he'd pick up on an attitude change.

Easy target again.

Ranboo. This one was going to be tough. He knew Ranboo got back to Snowchester this afternoon which was too late for him to wait around for. Instead, he decided to leave Ranboo for the time being. He was going to have some fun with him.

Fun target.

Some feeling had returned to his legs. Enough to be able to walk with a limp. Jeez, what was Tubbo doing? He felt slightly bad for intruding on this, but he also felt confused and worried. Although, that didn't last long. Remorse was deadly. He needed to feel no remorse for the actions he was going to have to carry out. Tubbo was watching from above. He could feel the boy's presence. It faded in and out sometimes, but he was definitely there. Watching Dream like a hawk.

He knew that Tommy was going to visit the prison later today, so he had to be quick. If he could wipe out everyone that Tubbo cared about, then the boy was an easy target and would be fun to play with. Tubbo was a puppet now, the revive book was a carrot in front of his nose that was just too far away for him to grab. As long as it stayed like this, Dream had a minion who was running on pure desperation. When people get desperate enough they will stop at nothing to get what they want. The thing with this was that Tubbo probably wouldn't ever get what he wanted. Only if Dream was in a good mood, then he might bring someone back. But that was unlikely.

When Tommy went to the prison today, he wasn't coming back out.

part 2 will come out soon but this was taking a while to write so I decided to split it into 2 parts
