This is a slightly long part
She looked out the window as the train crossed the stone bridge indicating that they would arrive soon. This had always been her favorite part of the train rides. The view was incredible. Even though it was for the most part just a large area of flat land with random bunches of trees, the height you would see it as was what made it incredible. Being able to see on for miles.
Around an hour or so later, the train arrived at the castle. The girl grabbed her trunk from overhead and exited the train. She stepped onto one of the carriages that didn't have anyone else in it. After a few minutes the carriages started moving. Allison had always wondered what had pulled the carriages. She used to think that they pulled themselves which was a possibility consideringthey lived in a world full of magic, but that also meat that whatever was pulling them could just be invisible.
They were almost to the castle when she remembered that within the next week would be the ball. Even though she had just packed all of her things, including her dress, yesterday, she still forgot about it. This might have been the most exited she'd ever been to come back.
Another time skip, but this time brought to you by a quarantined writer🙄
Allison was sitting with the twins at dinner that night, and all they could talk about was the party they would be hosting in two days.
"We still don't know if we should invite all houses, or just Hufflepuff..." George said. It had taken the girl forever to tell the two apart, but she could now pretty easily do so. They're voices were slightly different and Fred had a scar above his left eyebrow that George didn't.
The twins smirked at Allison as she quickly looked up at the mention of the Hufflepuff house. Fred and George tried to hold in their laughter at her reaction as the girl rolled her eyes and looked back down at her food.
"Just invite all the houses, we all know that some Slytherins aren't that bad."
The twins shrugged and continued talking about their party. Cedric would be coming back in that day, more than likely in the afternoon.
"Allison." The twins said in perfect sync.
"Yes?" The girl looked back up at them.
"You always say not all Slytherins are bad, so we want to know which ones aren't." George said.
"I mean there's that Blaise kid who just seems to want to have fun and party literally all the time. Once I found him putting streamers up in one of the corridors."
Fred let out a laugh as did George.
"Alright we'll invite him as long as he's here."
"Ok good." The blonde haired girl went back to eating her food, and left a few minutes later to go up to the astronomy tower. She hadn't even thought to tell them about her new relationship with Cedric, but she had gotten used to hiding from her parents. Even though they were more than likely betting on what would happen between the two of them.
She stood behind the railing, resting her forearms on it. There was a cold breeze that made her wish she was wearing more than a jumper and leggings. She watched the forbidden forest in the distance before turning to the black lake. No matter what time of day you could almost always see something swimming near the surface. Then as if on cue, the giant squids head came into view from the depths of the lake. No one knew exactly how deep that lake was, everyone just knew that it was deep. Not to mention freezing cold as well.
After about an hour or so of watching the lake and the forest, Allison decided to go back to her dorm. Angelina still wasn't back from the holidays but it didn't surprise the blonde haired girl, this was how it always had been. But coming back until the day of or before they had to be back. That was how it normally was for Allison as well. Just not this year.
