Chapter 16: I'm Not Leaving

                                    

                                          
Shinsou's P.O.V 
                          
I stood still in the spot where Denki had left me, too she'll shocked to fully understand what was going on but luckily I was able to tell that whatever it was had Denki scared. 
                          
I raced to the shop and saw Jiro through the window, who was still by Eri. I didn't want to cause a panic in the shop, so I went in calmly and made sure she looked me in the eyes. 
                          
Her body mediately tensed up and she sat up straighter. 
                          
"What happened," she asked "Where's Denki?" She stood up from the booth, ready to run out, and I watched her hand twitch. 
                          
"I don't know, Denki just told me that you needed to call Todoroki. He also said that he had to go after 'him', who ever the hell that is, and then he ran after him." I watched her go back to the booth and reach for her phone quickly while muttering to herself.
                          
"Hitoshi, what's going on?" Eri asked, sensing the feeling between Jiro and I. I looked too her and tried to push my anxious behavior aside to hopefully calm her down. 
                          
"Nothing you need to worry about, just go sit in the kitchen with Papa for me?" She nodded and held tightly onto her shirt with her little hands, and then she ran off to the back room. 
                          
"That idiot," Jiro mumbled as she dialed a number on her phone. "Show me where he went." I nodded and we both left the shop, with her phone pressed up to her ear. 
                          
"Boss," Jiro said in a dark voice as the phone picked up. I turned to look at her, curious by the use of that name. 
                          
Wasn't she calling Todoroki? 
                          
"Denki saw him and apparently ran after him! I don't- I don't know why he went after him by himself! He smarter then that!" Jiro yelled through the phone. "What does he think he's going to do when he catches him? Does he not remember what the L.O.V can do?" Her voice was panicked and she clearly cared about nothing else besides Denki's safety in that moment. 
                          
L.O.V? League of Villains? They're gone, right?
                          
"But what if it's not just him? And what was the point for showing himself? Denki told us he was going after us but why show up in front of Denki? Well then he shouldn't have gone after him! If Shigaraki was here to target Denki then he should  have gotten me first! Just get here quickly! Get the others!" She hung up the phone as we both started going down the ally but then she stopped me. 
                          
"Go back, Denki would skin me if he knew I let you anywhere near this. Go take care of your family-" 
                          
"No!" I said, shaking my head. 
                          
"Shinsou-" 
                          
"The L.O.V? Shigaraki?" I stated to her and she huffed out a cursed as she stomped her foot. "I'm not letting anything happen to Denki! I'm coming with you! Whether you like it or not!" Jiro looked around anxiously as her leg tapped quickly. 
                          
"I don't have time to argue with you and I know I can't just tell you to trust me, so you can come with but I want you to promise me that whatever happens you'll stay out of any fights. It's not your fight in the first place! And you're probably going to learn a lot of 'difficult to swallow' information, give us sometime to explain our selfs when this all blows over." She asked and I nodded. 
                          
Just like that we were running down the ally. We followed it down until we got to a turn, when I heard something hit hard against something else followed my a zap noise, we raced left towards the sound. 
                          
When we got close enough I saw Denki on the ground and lightning was dancing around his blonde hair. 
                          
"Denki!" I saw him trying to stay standing up, but he looked exhausted. His eyes turned to me quickly and it was like any color in his face left him when our eyes locked.
