Occupation: Professional sports player and a soldier in Thorn's army.
Personality: Obsessive over sports and physical activity. He is very ambitious, but also a bit narcissistic. Coal also has a large comedic side and has a routine of teasing his friends and family uncontrollably. Coal also is an excessive eater, even more so than Clay!
Abilities: Mudwing strength, and a Sandwing stinger. However, it isn't as effective as a pure Sandwing's. He can eat more than double his own body weight without feeling sick.
Family: Arame (Seawing father), Kangaroo (Mudwing mother), Chestnut (Mudwing brother {biological son of Kangaroo}), Quartz (Rainwing sister-in-law), Rex (Icewing brother-in-law), Infinity (Nightwing {with Rainwing blood} sister), Boomslang (Rainwing brother).
Backstory: Coal has been training his entire life to be a soldier for his Queen, and a sports icon for Phyrriha. He has a soft spot for other hybrids and has a Rainwing hybrid girlfriend who lives in Thorn's stronghold with him. He was adopted as an egg by a Seawing and a Mudwing, who already had a Mudwing son. Less than a year after Coal hatched, his surrogate parents adopted a Nightwing egg who hatched into his sister, and a year and a half after that the trio of mixed-tribe siblings was joined by a Rainwing youngest brother. Coal and his girlfriend Darner are often visited by his sister Infinity and her Icewing partner. Both Infinity and Darner are expecting eggs soon.
