He reached his hand up and pinched my cheek playfully, "Patience," He responded in a voice that sounded like Master Yodas and I let out an amused laugh.

"Alright fine," I sighed in defeat, "I'll come see you when I get back," I turned my gaze to look at the younglings that were jumping around the place, "Have fun in there and try not to kill them." I joked and he let out and annoyed sigh.

"I'll try not to." He joked back with a wink before going into the room, "Alright guys chill the eff out. Hey, you with braid, put him down!" I heard him already start yelling at them and I chuckled before leaving to go to my lunch.

"Thank you," I smiled up at the waitress that just brought me my water, she smiled back before turning away to wait on the rest of her tables. I turned my gaze to the Chancellor, "You should have told me that we were coming to an actual restaurant, I would have dressed better." I looked down to black Jedi clothes.

He shook his head, "Nonsense my dear, you look fine." He waved his hand and leaned back in his chair.

I grabbed my water and took a drink, "So," I began speaking when I set the glass back down, "To what do I owe for this invitation?" I questioned with a polite smile.

He smiled happily as he sat up straight, "I hear today is a cause for celebration."

I knitted my brows, "What are we celebrating?"

He lifted up a glass of wine and took a sip, "Your health of course, today is the day you stopped taking your medication is it not?" He asked as he set the glass back down.

I nodded with furrowed brows, "Yes but how did you-"

"Your condition is no secret," He cut me off, "Many know of it, and don't be embarrassed either my dear. I consider it to be admirable, it shows how strong you really are."

I smiled at his compliment, "Thank you Chancellor, that means a lot coming from you."

"Of course my dear," He smiled back at me, "And if you ever happen to find yourself-" He paused for a moment, "Falling back into it, then do not be afraid to come and talk to me about it, if you don't wish to discuss it with the Jedi of course. Gods knows they've taken you off of duty long enough. You're the best Jedi they have, they need you out there." He pointed to me confidently before bringing his hand back to his other one; where he intertwined his fingers together as he rested his elbows on the table.

I chuckled nervously in response. I wasn't used to being praised this much, I wasn't sure how to react it, "Thank you, but that won't be necessary," I smiled up at him and he held a look of intrigue, "If I do happen to have my hallucinations again, I plan to go straight to my fath-" I paused, I almost called him my father, "Master Yoda about it." I corrected myself.

He eyed me curiously as he leaned back in his chair, "We're you about to call Master Yoda, your father?" He questioned; tilting his head to the side.

I sighed, "Yes I was, he's just the closest thing I have to a father so it happens sometimes." I shrugged and his face fell into an irritated one as he grabbed his wine and took another sip of it, "You okay?" I questioned due to his sudden change in mood.

He nodded, putting another smile on his face, "Yes, sorry. It's just this father talk reminded me about my daughter." He admitted as the waiter came by and dropped our food off. We both said our thank you's and I went back to the subject we were just talking about.

"You have a daughter?" I asked with curiosity, "I had no idea."

He nodded, "I did, but I lost her a long time ago." He half-smiled as he took another drink from his wine and, I from my water.

"Did she die?" I asked and I started to feel bad for all these questions, but I've always been a curious person.

He shook his head without removing his eyes from the table, "No, she's very much alive, just lost. She's out there living a life that is beneath her," He admitted as he looked up to meet my gaze, "You remind me of her, you have the same (y/e/c) eyes." He smiled.

I smiled back, "Maybe that's why you like me so much." I shrugged as I took a bite from my food.

"Yeah, maybe." He mumbled as he began to eat as well.

"I'm back." I called out to Anakin as I stepped into his room and began getting out of my robes. I sighed with relief when I dropped the belt to the ground and pulled my hair out of the tight ponytail.

That's when I noticed a little paper on his bed, I walked up to it and grabbed it to read it.

Go to where it all started.

I smiled, I know exactly where that is. It was the place we met, which was the teaching room he was in today. I placed my hair back up in the ponytail, but instead of getting dressed, I just grabbed a cloak and wrapped it around myself. I'll be damned if I put on all that crap again.

I stepped into the hall and made my way to the room. I stepped inside to see him sitting in the same spot he was in when I fist met him.

"What's your name?" I walked over and sat criss-cross in front of a little blonde boy. I've noticed him here for the past few days. He was always alone and he always looked so sad.

He looked up to me with surprise, like he didn't expect anyone to come and talk to him, "I'm Anakin." He responded in a shy tone, his blue eyes quickly looked away from me in a nervous manner.

"What's your name?" I asked with a grin as I sat in front of him and he looked up to me with a heart warming smile.

"I'm Anakin." He responded as he held out a little box to me.

My grin grew wider, "That's a nice name." I chuckled as I reached forward and took the box. I opened it reveal the most beautiful ring I had ever seen. I gasped and looked up to him with wide eyes.
(I have a thing for teardrop rings so that's what I put on top, but you can always picture whatever you like since I know we all have different tastes♥️)

He held the same warm smile, "I know you said you didn't need one, but I felt like you deserved one." He reached forward and pulled the ring from the box, "May I?" He asked as he held his other hand out for my left hand.

I nodded as a few stray tears escaped my eyes, he placed the ring on my finger gently. I instantly held it up so it could shine in the light, "Ani this must have cost a fortune." I loved it so much, but I didn't want him to go broke because of me.

He shook his head as he grabbed my hand and placed a kiss on my fingers, "Don't you worry about that, it looks perfect on you." He smiled as he moved my hand side to side, most likely watching it sparkle just as I was.

"I love it, thank you." I leaned forward and pulled him into a hug, "You're the love of my life, I don't know what I would do without you." I sighed as I hugged him tighter.

He chuckled as he hugged me back, "You're the love of my life too Princess, I can't wait for you to be my wife."

I finally pulled away so I could gaze into his eyes with a smile and I immediately pulled him into a kiss.

This was a perfect moment.

One I'll remember even in my darkest days.

(a/n Sorry this one took me so long to update, I was caught up in my other story haha. But I hoped you like it, I know there a lot of talking and not a lot of action but I promise that won't be the case next chapter hehe💕)
