Y/n POV
(I furrowed my brows as I walked silently over the shimmering dot. It was a necklace, somehow familiar, though I never seen it before. It was trully beautiful. A heart pendant, silver may I add. I extented my hand to grab the fine jewelry, but in the split second that I've touched it, a feeling of burning sensation made me step back and stare at my index finger, mouth wide open.  What the hell was that?  I did it again, and I was paid with the same burning feeling.)

Y/n: Ah, I groaned sucking on my finger.

(This time I stepped away. I looked one last time at it before exiting the bathroom and making my way to class. We had defence against dark arts and I took a seat on the front row, too lost in thoughts to notice the blonde slytherin in front of me.)

Draco: Earth to Y/n.
(He snapped his fingers in front of me, making me slightly jump.  I smiled when I saw him, despise my awful mood, and my puffy eyes. My eyes met his and he smiled.  A real, honest smile.)

Y/n: I wanted to speak to–
(I was cutted off by Goyle.)

Goyle: Mate, come over here.
(He said all the way across the classroom and I saw Draco looking over at him.  I opened my book pretending that I didn't hear a thing and to my surprise Draco placed his book on the desk and took a seat next to me. I blushed and looked away.)

Draco: Now, what did you want to tell me?  (I lifted my chin and stared at him.)

Y/n: Yes, about the–

Draco: Wait. Have you been crying?! (He raised his voice and earned a few glaces.  My gaze fell on my book, but with his two fingers lifted my chin and forced me to look into his eyes.)

Draco: Tell. Me. Right. Now.
(He said slowly, evidentiating each word.)

Y/n: I–no, I didn't.
(I said and swallowed hard, not realizing till now that I'm such bad at lying.  He stared at me with a knowing look, lifting one eyebrow at my aggitated reaction, like he knew exactly when I was lying.)

Y/n: Sorry, I just– I don't know who I am anymore!
(I exclamed right when Lupin entered the class.)

Lupin: Good morning, class.
(He said looking at me in particular, my eyes falling on the book the one hundredth time.  As professor Lupin was teaching us about werewolves I catched Draco staring at me and I grinned.)

Y/n: I wanted to tell you that–I'll love to be your date.
(I whispered and his face lightened up, smiling continously.  My mind drifted again on the mysterious necklace in the dark corner of the bathroom. I had so many questions without answers and I'm afraid that's how is going to be from now on.  My life will be an enigma, just because of a stupid mistake. Or–it wasn't a mistake. It was on purpose. Who would be so ferocious enough to torture me and then obliviate me?  I shook my head struggling to empty my mind from the pain. I'm frantic that I'll never be able to forget it; that trauma marked me forever.)

(I don't know who I am anymore...  Those words kept hunting me, driving me insane everytime that voice echoed in my head, fighting with my being. I needed to know who I am. I needed)

Draco: Y/n?
(He sofly spoked, caressing my heart the way he did it.  I woke up from whatever planet I were and looked around to notice that everyone was gone. When did the bell rang?)
Draco: Are you ok?

(I swiftly noded and gathered my things to get out, observing his worried expression.)

Y/n: I-I am fine.

Draco: You don't look fine to me.
(He said walking beside me.)

Y/n: I–I found a necklace...in the girl's bathroom.
(He stopped deadly in the middle of the corridor, tilting my head to his sudden behaivior.)

Draco: Were it is?
(He whispered, suddenly seeming...irritated?)

Y/n: It's still there. I wanted to take it but it burned my skin...

(Draco was staring into space and I stepped closer, putting a hand on his shoulder.)

Y/n: Draco? What's wrong?
(I tried to find his eyes, but he kept avoiding mine.)

Draco: Please show it to me.
(I nodded, starting to walk towards the bathroom, him following me behind.)

Y/n: I can–
(He walked in without another word and I followed him showing him the dark corner.)

Draco POV
(I walked slowly to were she indicated me and I spotted it. All emotions hitted me with immense force and I tried to hold back tears. I grabbed it with a quick motion and stared at it with pure sadness. The way this made me feel it was different from anything I've felt before.)

(And then it hit me; what if she wasn't the same anymore? Can she bring me again to light? Because all I could think right now was darkness. I wanted to be alone. I needed to be alone, to clear my head.  I got up and walked outside, Y/n following me.)

Y/n: Were are you going?
(She asked, but I couldn't show my face.  I felt her finger brushing against my shoulder again, making me feel things that utterly confused me.)

Draco: I– I need some time alone. I'm sorry.
(I said and walked away with fast  steps that resounded on the deserted, shadowy corridor.)
