After the bonfire you walked Thomas, who had just remembered his name, to his sleeping hammock. You then tucked Chuck into his hammock.
"Night Chuckie, love ya bud." You whispered to him and gave him a small peck on the forehead. You had grown into a sort of mother figure to him and cared for him like a mother would.
"Goodnight y/n," he said sleepily and drifted off. You  quietly laid down on your hammock and began thinking about what the next day would bring. The new Greenie, Thomas, had a hammock beside yours. You noticed that he couldn't seem to get comfortable. Eventually Thomas stopped squirming around so you assumed he had fallen asleep. You began humming a tune (Amsterdam-Gregory Alan Isakov). Thomas turned over in his hammock and looked at you.
"Oh sorry, I didn't know you were still awake." I said quietly.
"No it's okay," he said "it's nice," and he gave you a small smile. You smiled back. "Will you keep humming?" He asked you.
You gave him and smile and just told him, "Goodnight Thomas," before you started humming again.
