Death, Crying, Denial and Burns
"Tubbo... I'm so sorry, he's gone," Sam said, looking at the ground.
"No. no. Sam stop lying. This isn't funny anymore Sam," Tubbo begged.
"This isn't a joke Tubbo. He's actually gone."
"Haha very funny, nice joke Sam. Where is Tommy? Is he hiding?" He desperately pleaded.
"Tubbo. Tommy is gone. This isn't a joke."
"Come out Tommy, the bits over!"
"TUBBO! TOMMY IS DEAD! Dream. Killed. Tommy," Sam cried as tears fell down his face.
Tubbo dropped to the ground. He was sobbing and tugging at his hair. Ranboo ran to his side and begged him to stop hurting himself. The boy was broken. His best friend was gone. The other half of him had been ripped out, never to be replaced. Tommy left a hole in him that couldn't be filled by anyone. No one could replace Tommy.
The bee boy screamed in agony. It pained everyone to see him so broken. The only other time he'd had an outburst like this was when he'd exiled Tommy. He'd broken down as soon as Dream escorted the younger from the nation. Tubbo regretted that day so much. He'd do anything to reverse the roles. Tommy didn't deserve to go through that. Tubbo was older, he should've been the one to feel Dreams wrath. Not Tommy. He had such an amazing personality that shouldn't have been crushed by Dream. He wanted to kill Dream. He wanted Dream to feel the same pain that Tommy had gone through.
Tubbo lurched forward and screamed, despite his hoarse voice. He ran towards the portal leading to the prison. Tears blinded his vision which made him stumble and almost lose his balance. He needed to get to Dream. He wanted to kill Dream.
"DREAM I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!!!" the distraught boy screamed. He ran inside the building and leapt through the portal.
"SAM STOP HIM!" Ranboo cried as he ran after Tubbo.
Tubbo was through the portal. He had no clue where he was going, all he thought about was Tommy. He had to get to him. He can't be dead. Tommy wouldn't go out like that. That's not what Tommy was like. He wanted to go out with style and not at the hands of Dream.
He rounded the corner and into a dark narrow hall. At the end of that hall was a wall of lava. That's where Tommy and Dream were. Everything hurt. Mentally and physically. He was exhausted and felt like he was going to collapse at any second. But he had to get to Tommy.
The hall felt like it continued forever. It took forever for Tubbo to reach the end. That was either because he was on the verge of collapsing or the hallway was just a really long hallway. He finally reached the end as he heard Ranboo and Sam catching up. None of that mattered, however. Tubbo barely even heard it when Sam caught up and stood next to him. The ringing in his ears drowned out the world. He was glad of it too. The real world didn't matter if Tommy was gone. Nothing did. Tommy was his other half. And without his other half, Tubbo was nothing.
Tears blurred his vision to the point where he couldn't see anything. It was just a big blurry blob of darkness. Happiness didn't exist. Neither did Tubbo to some extent. Yeah, he was physically here, but he wasn't at all mentally.
The heat from the lava rose to meet his numb skin. It didn't bother the boy. Pain was just a minor inconvenience. If ignored, it would go away. That's exactly what Tubbo did, or tried to. The physical pain was easy to ignore. It gave him a sense of power. The power to control what he felt. Mentally, it was a different story. Your mind is so stubborn, it doesn't let things go, it brings it up at the worst times and decides that no, you won't be letting this go. Instead, you will suffer, suffer the consequences of blocking the physical pain. It was unbearable at times but he had to push through. It's what he got from cutting off the physical pain.
Feeling numb was like some kind of superpower to Tubbo. The boy loved the feeling of being numb. Especially when it came to things like this. It made him feel like he had some sort of control over his life. Even when things were at an all-time low, he could still feel some sense of accomplishment.
His eyes grew heavy as he screamed Tommy's name. Surely not. Surely not. Tommy wasn't dead. He can't be.
"Tommy! Tommy, please don't leave me! I need you, I don't know what I'll do without you..." Tubbo swayed and tried to turn around but ended up collapsing. He fell on his side into the lava. Ranboo screamed and instantly grabbed the fatigued boy. He wasn't fast enough. Tubbo's right arm was engulfed by the lava. Flames spread up his arm while Ranboo and Sam desperately tried to put it out.
"No no no we can't lose you too. Stay with me Tubbo," Ranboo pleaded. Sam finally found a water bucket in his inventory and dumped it on the flames.
"Come on buddy," Sam said as he bandaged Tubbos arm. A small smile appeared on Tubbos face.
"I- I'm going to be with him... I'll be with Tommy," He spoke with excitement.
"You will Tubbo. You're going to see Tommy..." Ranboo whispered cradling the small figure. Tears burned into his skin but he didn't care.
"I'm sorry Ranboo, for everything I did to you."
"You did nothing wrong Tubbo. Every moment I've had with you has been amazing. Say hi to Tommy for me okay Bee?"
Tubbo smiled, "will do Boo."
