Thor's Pov

I landed on Midgard. Heimdal sent to where he had sent y/n when she first left Asgard. The rainbow lights slowly faded as I stood there with a large mark left on the ground. As the colors cleared I saw many mortals with excitement and fear over their faces. "I am Thor, Son of Odin, God of Thunder, King of Asgard," I said to the people who stood before me. "Oh my god! You're the one that Asgardian loved. What was her name again?" I heard a voice come from the back of the crowd. "Y/n," another voice answered. I must have blushed at the sound of y/n loving me because one of the ladies who were talking stepped forward and said, "You look red." The other one then stepped forward and apologized for her friend. "No, it is okay," I replied. "I'm actually here looking for lady y/n, so if you already know her that works out very well for me," I said with a smile. "Well we don't exactly know where she went, we only spent one night with her then I freaked her out by saying she loved you, which by the way was obvious by the way she smiled when she talked of you and got all upset when she talked of your argument." The woman said before her friend elbowed her, trying to get her to stop. "I'm Darcy, and this is Jane," the talkative one said pointing to her friend. "It is a pleasure to meet you two lady's but I must find lady y/n before she loses all her memories of us." Tell them before asking which way she went. "That way, but you should stay here for the night, the next bus doesn't come until morning and it's a very long walk," Jane said pointing towards an empty bus stop. "I suppose one night shouldn't do too much harm, plus the sight of me should help bring back our childhood if she truly did love me," I suggested winking at Darcy as I said the last part.

We walked back to where lady Jane and lady Darcy lived. They decided that I would be much more comfortable in their mortal clothes rather than my armor, so they handed me some that should fit and showed me to the bathroom where I could get changed. It was mid-day now and I worried more and more about y/n. Jane and Darcy took me out for coffee to get my mind off of the beautiful woman who couldn't remember her own childhood let alone a month ago.

We walked to a coffee shop nearby where a beautiful woman greeted us. "Take a seat and I'll be with you in a moment." she smiled. We sat at a table where I was seated beside Jane and across from Darcy. The nice woman from before brought over three coffees, placing them gently on the table. "Anything else for you today?" She asked us holding a notepad in one hand and a pen in the other. "No, that's all. Thank you." Jane said to her.

Jane was truly gorgeous. She had long brown hair that blew back in the wind, and deep brown eyes like the trees on Asgard. I took a sip of my coffee. I had never tasted this drink before but I did like it very much. "ANOTHER!" I yelled smashing the mug on the ground after I had finished it. Everyone jumped back as I did so, confusing me. Darcy pulled out her little rectangular device thing pointed it at me and told me to smile. I turned back to Jane as she apologized to the kind lady who had brought us the coffees. "We don't really smash mugs her." She told me as she carefully picked up the pieces of the broken cup and threw them away. "Sorry," I said before looking outside. The sky was bright blue as it should be, but slowly big grey storm clouds formed as I thought of y/n. The rain started to pour down as a tear fell from my eye. I tried my best to control it but I couldn't I decided that I should leave before y/n forgot of our home and more importantly forgot me.

Jane and Darcy turned to each other as the storm was forming. "We should go home," Jane suggested after she realized it was my doing. We walked back to Jane's house. I made a circle of clearness around us so that we wouldn't get wet. I opened the door holding it for them to walk in first.

It was now getting late. I sat on the couch thinking to myself 'What if she forgets me forever? What if she doesn't know who I am when I go to see her? What if she never returned to Asgard because she forgot who she was?' Then Jane came and sat beside me. She saw that I was on the verge of tears. "Hey, it's going to be okay. She'll remember you." She said as she held my hand. Her hands were very tiny but warm. She gave me a sympathetic smile before saying, "I'm sorry that she left, but maybe you should move on. She's forgetting about you and she's happier for it. You should be able to feel happy too." At first, I was shocked and angered by these words, but after a moment of thinking it over, I leaned in and kissed Jane. I placed my hands in her hair and hers were in mine. I melted into the kiss before pulling away. "I have to see her first," I told Jane. She seemed to understand. She stood up and walked to her room.

I lay awake all night thinking of y/n and whether Jane was right that I should move on. I decided the best thing was to just find her tomorrow and if she didn't remember me I would come back to Jane. The sun was starting to rise and I was still awake so I got up to make some breakfast. I cracked some eggs on the side of a pan then pouring them in. Jane got up soon after me and began to help. "So what is the plan?" Jane asked me as she poured coffee into two mugs handing one of them to me. "I will go see y/n today. If she truly does not remember her past then I will leave her to her new life. If she does remember me I will bring her back to Asgard, she should be in her true home." I told her sliding an egg onto her plate. "But either way I will come back to see you, Jane," I said smiling at her before sitting down. "Something smells good," Darcy said walking into the room. I had made extra eggs for her and Erik so that they could join us when they woke up. "The bus leaves at 10:00," Jane told me. "Thank you." It was 9:00 now meaning I had some time before I had to leave. Erik joined us, we all talked and laughed and before I knew it, it was 9:50. "Thank you for your hospitality," I said to them putting my armor back on. I kissed Jane on the four head whispering "I will be back," before I ran out the door.

I stood at the bus stop for about 3 minutes before the bus arrived. I boarded it and sat near the back. I was both excited and nervous, for I was heading off to see my best friend whom I hadn't seen for over a month.
