XVII - The Wedding

Once Percy and Annabeth made it back to camp, the wedding plans snowballed forward. It seemed like everything that was holding them back had just vanished.

With the help of Piper and Hazel, Annabeth found a beautiful dress and made up her mind on the decorations. They decided to keep things simple and just get married at camp, because after all that's where everything had started. There was a beautiful clearing in the forest that Annabeth loved and with the help of a couple dryads and campers it transformed wonderfully.

Everyone was bursting with excitement, the camp's golden couple was finally tying the knot. After Annabeth started sharing the news of pregnancy everything blew up even more. People were thrilled for them, this was one of the first Greek second generation demigod in years. It gave everyone hope.

Then the day finally came, and it seemed like something out of a storybook.

--

Piper had been thrilled to introduce Anthony to everyone. Of course they had been a little wary at first since all they knew of him was that he had broken up with her, but eventually they got over it. He got along well with them but most importantly he made Piper happy.

He never stopped apologizing for what he had done so eventually Piper had to sit him down and tell him it was okay and that they were together again. Little by little she started sharing more with him, telling him everything she had held back before. She eventually told him about Jason too and he took it better than she expected.

"Well, at least now I don't have to worry about your ex," he said, leaning in to give her a peck on the forehead, "his loss and my incredible gain my love."

And that was that. He didn't start treating Jason any differently, and Piper was also thankful for that. She was happy that now she didn't have to hide a part of her life anymore. She could weave in tales from her adventures in their everyday conversations. It felt wonderful to be able to mesh those two aspects of her life together.

The day of the wedding, Piper was beyond excited. She was a bridesmaid and though Anthony was not a groomsman, she was excited to see him in a suit.

"There no way, nope, absolutely no way."

"Nico, c'mon," Jason pouted down at him, "We went through the trouble of getting them all matching."

Nico shrugged and flopped back on the bed, "I told you then it was a waste. I'm not wearing the bow tie. You're lucky I'm even wearing the jacket."

Jason groaned and sat down on top of him, straddling his hips, "But you'll look so hot, and later I'll enjoy taking it off you so much...we can even use it to tie up other things..."
