Tuff love
                          
It's Friday, July 17th, your mom and Harlin have moved in together and you and Marlene are like stepsisters now. You both got kind of used to the fact your parents decided to move on. They met on Halloween night, he saw her and she was by herself at a coffee shop and asked if she would like some company, and ever since they've been seeing each other.
                          
You and Draco have been writing to each other a lot. Today you were going to tell your mom about you and Draco.
                          
You changed into light blue jeans and a black top that went off your shoulders. Your hair was in a high ponytail and no makeup just chapstick. 
                          
You prepared yourself and went to the garden where your mom was. You walked up to her and she was in the field having a picnic by herself gazing at the beautiful blue sky.
                          
"Mom can we talk?" you said scared.
                          
"Of course, " she said patting the space next to her. You took a seat and sighed, "Mom I have a boyfriend, " 
                          
"Really wow that's great I guess, " your mom smiled, "What's his name?" 
                          
"Uh... Draco, " you said looking at your hands.
                          
"Draco hmm, I heard that name before do I know him?" your mom asked.
                          
"Yes... Um Draco Malfoy is his name, " you cleared your throat, your mom looked at you in shock, "As in son of Lucius Malfoy?" Your mom said.
                          
"Yes, " your voice cracked. 
                          
"Y/n are you kidding me!" your mom yelled, "After what happened to your father and what you told me he did to you!" 
                          
"Mom it's different now, and he's nothing like his father, " you whined.
                          
"Oh he will very much be and end up like his father!" she said getting up and walking back to the manor, "I don't accept this you're going to break up with this boy now, " 
                          
"No mom please just meet him at least, " you begged.
                          
"Meet him?" your mom laughed, "No thank you!" 
                          
"Please mom I beg you just this once he wants me to meet his mom, " you said.
                          
"Narcissa?" she questioned, "Yes mom Narcissa I know you guys used to be close before she became a Malfoy, " you said.
                          
"Fine i'll meet this boy since that's her little boy and because I haven't seen her in years, " your mom sighed, "When?" 
                          
"Oh my God thank you, mom, " you hugged her, "And next Monday, " 
                          
" Ok I better expect something good from this boy, " she demanded, "Yes of course mom, " you squealed, she hugged you and you kissed her cheek then ran to your room.
                          
Dear draco,
                          
My mom knows about us and she agreed to go to dinner (had to convince her).
She expects you to be some type of way I don't know, but just try to impress her, or I don't know my mom's complicated.
Just be there for me ok? She most likely won't talk to your father or you cause you to look like him but it's ok I'll be there and have her be nice to you.
