"Yeah it's fine" why is he being so calm and collected about this? In theory, I stood him up, kind of. "So if you don't have any more projects will you show me around today?" Okay why is he still trying. I've said this multiple times. He can find someone better than me to show him around. I barley get out of my house enough to know this town well anyways.

I snap out of my thoughts and said "Yea sure, I... Uh... We can like- we can go and I can- uh- I can show you... Uh like.... Show you around town?" Wow I'm so lame. Why did I say it like I was asking a question? Ughhh.

He giggled at my attempt to talk to him but his own laughter was soon cut of by him talking. "Yeah so meet me after school, and don't go do anything else this time" why was he so charming? "Yeah, okay"
"Alright so see you at the end of the day?" Well no going back now. "Yeah, I guess" so looks like I will be showing him around. "Okay great see you later Lexie"

I didn't know what else to say so I just stood there like an awkward turtle and watched him head over to his class.

Okay Lexie let's recap ok what just happened. So a hot guy randomly starts talking to you and askes you to show him around. I (well more like Kim) tells him yes. I ditch out on him, but he STILL wants me to show him around?

Okay this is weird but I guess I can't ditch him again. Can I? No Lexie you can't, that would just be plain rude. Or maybe if I don't go he'll just leave me along. Come on Lexie you can do it. Okay looks like I going to have to be social for a little while. I'm so not excited for this.

Well the day seemed to fly by pretty quickly. I got a 83 on my project. I knew she would count of for aesthetic appeal. Uh oh. I already at my last class and I still haven't mentally prepared myself to meet up with Michael.

Okay come on Lexie. You can do this. Just be a normal human being. That shouldn't be too hard... Right? Okay first things first of being a normal human, I gotta stop talking to myself.

Oh no. The last class is over. I didn't have enough time to prepare myself for complete and utter humiliation. Okay I can do this. Just be Thomas the train, I think I can, I think I can, I think I can. Target in sight. Just walk out these doors and be normal. Give a normal tour and be a human talking to another human.

I can see Michael waiting for me outside in the courtyard. Oh! Oh! He sees me! Okay he's waving what do I do? Oh yeah! Wave back! And I'm waving, still wavin- OWWW!!!! Oh poop. I just ran into a pole. Of course I would find a way to mess this up.

I still fell a bit dizzy but I became normal enough to see Michael running towards me. Awww he's coming to help. He reached out his hand toward mine so naturally, I took it. With me being a measly height of four foot eleven and weighing roughly 100 pounds, he pretty much threw me into the air not realizing how tiny I was.

My blond hair is now covering my entire face from the whiplash oh him helping me up. I guess he didn't realize that I was short since I always wear heels.

"Are you okay?" He asked "uh, yea yea, uh... I'm fine" he is now looking intensely into my hazel eyes, studying them like he has a test about corneas. "Sorry I threw you up so high, that was my bad" awww, he actually looks concerned. That's so sweet.

"No it's fine" okay I need a subject change quick. "So you ready for the tour?" Okay good job Lexie, your being normal. "Yeah, let's go" he motioned for me to follow him.

We went to his car which was a dodge truck. Wait, aren't I giving the tour? Shouldn't I be driving? Oh well, I'll just go with it.

He started the engine and we started heading downtown. As we passed I told him about all the buildings and scenery that looked interesting enough to tell about. Eventually we weren't even talking about the town anymore. We are just talking about each other's lives and every thing.

"Wait-wait" Michael said through his laughter "how many heels do you have?" "143... Is that bad?" By this point I was laughing too at my weird obsession with shoes.

We had stopped to get ice cream so now every body in the ice cream parlor was staring at us and our obnoxious laughter. I don't even know why we were laughing so hard. It's really not that funny. Michael was dying laughing across from me. I wasn't even laughing at the story I was telling anymore, I just only laughing because his laugh was so contagious.

"Hey! You don't know what it's like being a midget! You probably like six three are something!" I retorted "okay first of all I'm only six two" "wow so much of a difference"

We've been just talking to each other her for like at least and hour now and I'm actually having a ton of fun. I'm so glad Kim made me do this. I should go thank her after this. Then again I don't want her head getting TO big.

"Okay why on earth would you move from California to Missouri?" No wonder he was so hot. All Californian guys usually were. "Well my parents both had really good jobs there and everything, but they got bored with it. It's like our life had the same routine every day and we never got to try anything new. Plus every one in California was so fake and rude. People here are nice and real" I smiled shyly and that comment.

We looked at the time and we were out for 4 hours! It was already like 7:30 and my mom would be so ticked if I wasn't home in time for dinner, which because of my moms OCD starts at precisely 7:55, because 8:00 is just SO ridiculous.

While he was talking me home I told him to step on while explaining why we had to hurry. Like I said, we were in downtown which is like 20 minutes away from where I live.

We arrived at my house at 7:52. I made it! I gave Michael a really awkward goodbye with a super awkward high five. I did one of those weird uncomfortable smiles and left the car with out any further humiliation. I really hope he didn't see me trip on our welcome mat before I went inside.
