The figure of arms poke out from behind the tree, noticing that the person probably has both hands tucked into their pockets I slowly backed away, moving away from the tree when a sudden 'snap' comes from underneath my foot giving away my presence.
                          
The small noise causes the person to shift around until fully revealing them self from behind the tree. The recognizable spiky blonde hair I knew could only be one person; Bakugou.
With a single earbud in his ear he turns his phone on, pressing pause then shoves it in his pocket. His narrow eyes glanced from his phone then towards me and onto the ground.
"Bakugou..?!"
                          
After the sudden call of his name, his strong gaze at the ground turned back to look at me. His eyes were filled with his usual coldness as he made his way towards me stopping just a few feet in front of me while leaning up against the front of the tree. An awkward silence fell overtop of us before I decided to spill out all my thoughts at once. 
"Why did you leave the mall without saying anything! I texted you and you read it without replying back.. did you even see it properly—? Did I do something wrong—"
                          
Bakugou remained quiet; avoiding any eye contact while unwrapping a lollipop he took out from his other pocket and shoving it in his mouth. "Tch, I saw it.. I just didn't care." 
                          
His cold and hurtful words left me stunned, and though I didn't show it; I was fighting back tears.
"I'm leaving, this was a waste of time anyway." 
                          
He starts walking towards me and as he does 
he shoves past me, bumping our shoulders together. And without thinking I grab his hand before he could get any further.
                          
"Wa-Wait!" 
                          
My sudden reaction makes Bakugou stop in place as he says and does nothing for a few seconds before finally mumbling a few words that weren't loud enough for me to hear. I could feel his hand start to shake as it slowly started feeling a bit hotter. 
                          
"What did—?"

"LET GO OF ME DAMMIT!"
                          
Bakugou shakes my hand away just as he sets off his quirk which starts to burn the palm of my hand, but only slightly. 
                          
"!!!"
                          
As I winced at the new burning sensation Bakugou's concerned look quickly changed into that of annoyance, he uses this as his way out and stomps away without looking back while he turns the corner. As I held my hand, I watched him leave right in front of me. That's when I notice something small laying crumpled up on the ground; a tiny drawstring bag sat open on the lawn with something shiny sparkling inside.
Huh..? Did he drop this?
                          
I walk over and pick up the unknown object off the ground taking a closer look. The little bag loosens more and a small bracelet falls in my hand revealing it's small gemstones engraved into it. It takes a moment for me to realize how familiar this piece of jewelry is. 
And that's when it hit me. 
                          
I gasp and quickly ran to the last place I saw Bakugou. I turn the corner hoping he might still be around somewhere, but that idea quickly disappears when I come to a stop to see that he's nowhere to be found. 
"He's.. gone."
