Yoon Jin Ah POV

Kurhaustrasse, Zürich, Switzerland.

Se Ri and I, made mud pies, played in the sand and dolled up Barbie dolls. Annoyed each other, countless being compared by people, shared secrets, plenty giggles and tears as well, and of course, the pains of growing without a mother and missed the father figure most of the time.

Then came Ri Jeong Hyeok, and their marriage. I noticed there was a slight wedding jitter on her eyes that day, and I told her that if she gets cold feet, she can send me a signal and we can go Runway Bride. But she just smiled and tried her best not to sway and rock the aisle as if it were a fashion runway.

Maybe, it was me who got the cold feet, separation anxiety. With her wedding to Jeong Hyeok, some things came to an end. I miss her more than annoyed by her. We're apart more than together.

I didn't know who he was, Ri Jeong Hyeok. But hearing Se Ri calling his name in her sleep was enough for me, so I took my chance and bid my luck finding Mr. Ri. Leaving him without explanation felt like a mistake, and I couldn't stand a sad love story.

We had a chance to get to know each other that morning before Se Ri and Jin Woo arrived in Zürich. I offered to cook and teach their chef two new dishes, new variances to add to Ri's menu. Some ingredients needed to be bought so he took me to a local market. We had some conversations, from light topics into the heart-to-heart talk.

I found it amusing, how certain he was about loving Se Ri, regardless of how hazy their situation was. He is one of the nicest gentlemen I've ever met, but I've known Se Ri since forever. With her tendency to wander, unsettle, I doubted how this man could ever tame her. Se Ri loved to play around, but she locked her heart.

But then I could see how happy he made her, the moment I witnessed their eyes met back at the Ri's, that one unforgettable morning. She looked like a disaster who fell in love with a man who would rescue her once again. Someone has unlocked, unwrapped, and her life would never be the same again. She would never be back into the old Yoon Se Ri before she crashed into Jeong Hyeok. Ever. For her, Jeong Hyeok is the definition of happiness, and for him, Se Ri is his world.

Se Ri had met enough Mr. Wrong to know that he is the Mr. Right. That day, I wondered whether I would find that kind of happiness in Jin Woo. I didn't have enough share of love journey, and despite being madly in love with him, still, I wondered. But time has its ways of revealing the truth, giving us a chance to grow what people called by love.

Today, I can feel the things I questioned, from the other side. The world may don't think that he's the right man, but I do, and for him, that's all that matters.

I'm blessed to have the wedding I always dreamed of. What I didn't dream was the groom would be Yoo Jin Woo, the son of Dad's business partner and we might have met when we were still children, but then so long forgotten by time. Another thing I didn't dream, that we would have our first dance as husband and wife in a romantic melody played so beautifully by the one and only brother-in-law. Jin Woo never leaves his eyes off me, and he looks so handsome with his adorable dimple smile throughout the dance.

Until comes the time to do the bride dances, and I have Dad to dance with me. I know those are happy tears but I end up teary too. Se Ri, who chooses not to dance as her husband is on duty, dabs her eyes with tissue witnessing us. We don't say anything to each other until the music ended for a moment. Jeong Hyeok gets up from the piano, had a hired pianist taking his place to have a dance with me. Before handing my hand to him, Dad kisses my temple and says, "you're a wife now..your mother must be so proud of you."

"Dad.."

"She was so beautiful that day. Usually, I see a lot of her in Se Ri. but your mother on our wedding day, she looked just like you. Be happy, my little girl."
