Ch. 10

                                    

                                          
You awaited for Corey and Jonathan to arrive, it took some time but you were patient and had to make sure it was before your dad could come home. 
                          
Specifically before six'o 'clock
                          
Corey and Jonathan soon arrived later to your dad's house eager to know what y'all would be looking for. 
                          
"Hey!" You say opening the door quickly, before they could even knock on it.
                          
"So what are we gonna search for hun?" Corey says walking in and facing you and throwing his hands in the air. 
                          
You smile at Corey and Jonathan before shutting the door quickly. 
                          
"My dad's hiding something but I don't know what." You say while furrowing your eyebrows. 
                          
Jonathan shrugs before him and Corey lean against the counter, while staring at you. 
                          
"He's been acting funky, really paranoid, and his eyes are wide." You say walking over to them while leaning on Jonathan.
                          
"Maybe because your mom's not around?" Jonathan says, that made your ears perk up like a dog in a hypenated way. 
                          
"Yes! That could be it but it could also be something else but I don't know." You say while scratching your head. 
                          
"Guys are y'all blind?" Corey says while putting his hands on the counter and leaning back. 
                          
"What do you mean?" Jonathan says clearly visible that he wouldn't know.
                          
"Clearly he's on drugs. everything matches, your mom and dad divorced, which leads to addiction." 
                          
Corey squints his eyes and puts on a small frown. 
                          
"Dad wouldn't hide something from me." You say your answer only half positive. 
                          
"Or would he?" Jonathan says and sighs a little to not upset you. 
                          
"Well I mean I don't know it might explain the locked door, but we need to go in there." You state and show a small smile while rubbing your eye. 
                          
Corey and Jonathan follow you to his room, Jonathan kisses you on your head to reassure you that everything will be okay. 
                          
Corey takes a sharp yet feasible knife to the door knob while sticking it in the key whole. 
                          
Corey keeps on trying while with the knife,  you search for the key, and Jonathan continuesly bangs his shoulder on the door. 
                          
"It's not like movies dipshit." Corey says to Jonathan laughing; while still trying with the knife. 
                          
Jonathan ignores him and bangs his shoulder on the door, making Corey's knife fall on the floor causing a thud. 
                          
"Then what should we do huh? You got some plan wise guy?" Jonathan says clearly aggervated while crossing his arms at him. 
                          
"What I'm doing now, be patient?" Corey says rolling his eyes, once again while laughing.  
                          
"So you've did this before then?" Jonathan says trying to get under his skin.

The lock goes simply unlocked just like that, after some time. 
                          
"Yes I have." He says before walking in the room, Jonathan looks impressed before a smile curves up on his and Corey's face. 
                          
"Y/n! Haim unlocked it!" Jonathan says while looking around the room, but not touching anything until you got here. 
                          
You walk up to the door before gasping slightly. 
                          
"Woah..."
