Sapnap's POV (first person)

It's been weeks since our last encounter with Dream. I've been trying to get George to calm down, but, he won't listen to me. All he does is fiddle with the ring that was meant for Dream, day and night. He barely gets any sleep at all.

George wanders the vast land, at least hoping that he can find Dream and talk so,e sense into him. But he hasn't had any luck. Dream simply just, vanished off the face of the earth.

His compass spins uncontrollably. It never seems to stop.

What if Dream's ghost was finally put to rest-

No, that wouldn't end well, especially for George.

Then, George came running towards the house. He had the rest of the crew with him. His eyes were bloodshot due to the lack of sleep.

"Sapnap...you need to come with me. We found something, Dream might be there."

Half an hour later, we had made our way to a a circle of beckons. Each was a different shade of green, from the lightest shade to the darkest.

There were a total of 8 beckons, just lying around in the area ahead of us.

And a dragon was sitting there, but not just any dragon.

It was the ender dragon.

"What the fuck-how..why..the ender dragon-"

"Probably Dream's doing," Techno said.

George was the first to walk up to the beckons. He had slowly made his way to the beckon before he stopped dead in his tracks at the middle.

Then Tubbo made his way to the beckons. He too stopped, only for a moment before he ran to the center.

(Third person)

Tubbo ran to the middle of the beckons. There in the middle, was the bandanna he had given Tommy before he left. It was torn from many places. Tubbo was about to grab it, but it disappeared, as if it wasn't there in the first place.

Was it just him imagining it? No, it couldn't be. George saw it too as well. It couldn't be his imagination, right?

"Come on guys, we need to-"

George could finish his sentence because he had just noticed the ender dragon, starring right at them. But, it's eyes were green, they weren't purple like it was described in history books and in pictures.

The dragon snarled at them. It spread its wings and snapped at both George and Tubbo. They stumbled back.

"Not now girl, we wouldn't want our guests to die so quickly now do we?"

Everyone turned to the source of the voice, drawing their weapons. Dream was standing there, his obsidian sword in one hand, and a shield in another. He glared at all of them. If stares could kill, his could of.

"Pathetic, you think I'd already have my hands on Tommy?"

"Shut up," Tubbo snapped.

An arrow flew at him, barely missing him by an inch. Dream had managed to quickly change his sword and shield to a bow and arrow, "I would advice yourself to shut up."

George stepped towards Dream, "Dream...please. This isn't you and you know that! We can find another way to help you with your situation!"

"How many times have I told you!? There. Is. No. Other. WAY!"

Sapnap, Bad, Skeppy, Ranboo, Ghostbur, and Techno had already gathered by George and Tubbo's side. They starred at Dream, waiting for his next move.

"I would love to stay, but I have business to take care of so if you excuse me-" Dream began before being cut off by Sapnap.

"WOULD YOU STOP RUNNING YOU COWARD! JUST LISTEN TO US FOR ONCE! LET US HELP YOU-!"

Sapnap flew back as a large ball of green light hit him square in the chest, knocking to air out of his lungs. His back hit a tree, followed by a loud crack.

"SAPNAP!" George shrieked as he ran to his friends side.

"You all are pathetic," Dream spat.

Before anyone else could attack him, Dream was gone along with the dragon. The beckons, one by one, broke. Shards of glass flew everywhere. The crew tried their best to cover themselves, only to receive minor cuts.

The group decided it would be best for them to stick together, so they made their way to George and Sapnap's house. George assigned where they would sleep. Bad on one couch, Skeppy on the other, and both Ranboo and Techno would be receiving their own mattresses that would be laid out in the middle of the living room.

After everyone got settled and went to bed, minus Techno and Ghostbur, George made his way to Dream's room. He sat on his bed, tears stinging his eyes. He couldn't help his friend if he didn't listen.

There way no other way to help.

George pounded his fists into the bed in frustration a few times before taking a rest and making his way to Dream's closet. George snatched one of his sweaters and pulled it onto himself.

It fit big.

Of course it does, Dream's tall-

George creeped his way back to his room and plopped onto his own bed in his own room. Maybe it was finally a good idea to get a decent amount of sleep, at least for now. He would need all the energy he could get if it were to come to the point where he had to fight Dream.

But what if I have to fight him? I don't want to hurt him. I just want to help him.

But George knew that he could not help him and that at some point, he will have to hurt Dream.

And it hurt himself.

He felt as if it was his fault he could not help Dream, that he could no make Dream listen. He felt like everything was falling apart. That his whole world was collapsing.

George cried to himself to sleep that night. It was the first time he actually slept properly in weeks.
