"Goooood morning!"
                          
You grumble as you rub your eyes, opening them to see a tall figure leaning over you.
                          
"KUROO DON'T SCARE ME LIKE THAT!", you say jumping up, making your head hit his mouth.
                          
"OW! I'm sorry! I didn't know the price of giving you a surprise was a hit to the mouth!"
                          
"Whoops.", you say, smiling as you get out of bed. "Wait a second, I thought you left yesterday, what are you doing here?", you ask, confused because you're sure your parents, Kuroo, and his dad had left yesterday after lunch.
                          
"I came back! It's only 11:30. Aaaand Akhemi mentioned yesterday that she was making waffles today!", he excitedly replies jumping off the bed.
                          
You get up and go to brush your teeth, then going to the dining table to sit down and wait for Akhemi. Kuroo takes a seat next to you and starts drumming his hands on the table.
                          
"Oh finally your awake y/n!", Akhemi says typing her apron.
                          
"Yeah thanks to the help of Kuroo.", you say yawning.
                          
"Well are you ready for waffles?", Akhemi says grinning as she takes the mix out of the cupboard.
                          
You and Kuroo nod excitedly, as Akhemi quickly mixes the batter.
                          
You grab a couple utensils and start chanting, "Food, food, food!"
                          
Kuroo opens his mouth but closes it again to smile.
                          
"Hey that's pretty low of you to not chant with me!", you say pausing your chants frowning at him.
                          
"Well, as your really cool, suave boyfriend, it would be out of the question!", he smiles as he picks up his fork and starts tapping it on his plate.
                          
"And my ears thank you for that.", Akhemi says sliding a waffle onto his plate.
                          
"HEY!", you yell in a protest. Akhemi ignores you and goes back into the kitchen. Kuroo starts cutting his waffle in half, and slides one half onto your plate.
                          
"THANK YOUUUUU!", you say grinning as you lean over to give Kuroo a hug.
                          
"Full filling the wishes of the best person ever.", Kuroo grins.
                          
"WOAH YOU TWO I'M STILL HERE!", Akhemi laughs as she slides a waffle onto your plate.
                          
You immediately stop hugging Kuroo and dive into your waffle. As your eating you see Kuroo taking a f/c out of his pocket and popping it in his mouth.
                          
"Woah you already have a waffle why are you eating that now?", you laugh as you poke his stomach.
                          
Without giving Kuroo time to answer Akhemi comes over and sits down across from the both of you with 3 waffles on her plate.
                          
"Soooo Kuroo said he was gonna take you on a surprise! When are you guys heading out?", she says pouring syrup onto the waffles.
                          
"That was gonna be a surprise. You know, I have plans on making romantic gestures!", Kuroo sighs as he gets up to wash his hands.
                          
"Aww it's ok! Hey you gonna only eat one half of a waffle?", you ask taking your own plate and putting it in the sink.
                          
"Yup I'm good, and actually we can head out right now!", Kuroo says grinning again and heads to the door.
                          
"Oh yipee I'm the villain again.", Akhemi grumbles as she stuffs a piece of waffle in her mouth.
                          
"Hey maybe if we get pizza for dinner you won't be!", you say laughing as you pull your jacket on.
                          
"Hardy har har.", she replies, smiling this time though.
                          
You and Kuroo walk hand in hand, laughing about something Kenma did when he was younger, until you guys reach the center of town.
                          
"Ah we're here!", Kuroo says grinning as you both stop in front of a huge building.
                          
"What is this place?", you ask looking up at the tall building.
                          
"Oh it's not the building it's what's behind the building!", Kuroo says taking your hand and leading you to the back of the building.
                          
You hear a lot of noises, and laughing, and even some carnival music. As you reach the back of the building you break into a huge smile seeing a carnival taking place.
                          
"Ta dah! I warn you though I'm not going on the ferris wheel.", Kuroo says laughing as you and him run into the bustling carnival.
                          
You and Kuroo walk around, buying cotton candy, and going on a few rides. You spot a game where the prize was a huge penguin. Heading toward the game, Kuroo stops you.
                          
"As your boyfriend, I think it's only right if I use this chance to make a romantic gesture.", he says winking as he walks to the game, with you laughing and following behind him. He picks up one of the water guns and keeps it in the mouth of the dragon for a while.
                          
"Nice job kid, but not long enough.", the guy behind the counter says as Kuroo looses focus for a second making the water gun turn.
                          
"You wanna give it a shot then y/n?", Kuroo asks passing the water gun to you.
                          
"Sure!", you say taking the gun and placing your aim.
                          
                             Time skip because I ran out of words (amazing excuse aint it?)
                          
"You know y/n as your boyfriend it's only right if you let me look cool sometimes.", Kuroo sighs as he takes the stuffed penguin from you.
                          
"If you look AND act cool that means a lot of competition for me!", you laugh as you take the penguin back and wrap your arms around it.
                          
"How could you possibly have competition?", Kuroo asks in genuine shock.
                          
"Golly gee I wouldn't know!", you roll your eyes.
                          
Kuroo laughs and wraps his arms around your shoulder and squeezes it. You both walk around for a bit, before leaving the carnival and heading home.
                          
"Do you have anything else in mind for today?", Kuroo asks as you both cross the street.
                          
"Nope, the day couldn't get any better.", you smile.
                          
"Mmm the day doesn't feel complete yet.", Kuroo says looking at you, bringing his hand to your cheek.
                          
"Kuroo this is in public.", you say smiling a bit.
                          
"What do you mean?"
                          
"Were you not gonna-"
                          
"I don't know what you were thinking I was gonna ask you if you want to eat out."
                          
"KUROO I SWEAR TO GOD-"
                          
"I'M SORRY I'M SORRY I'M JOKING!", Kuroo laughs as he runs away from you.
                          
"Get back here. Now.", you say crossing your arms.
                          
"I surrender.", Kuroo says putting his hands up and walking back over.
                          
You quickly walk over to him and plant a kiss on his lips. As your lips left Kuroo's, he immediately pulled you back. 
                          
When you finally pull back to take a breath of air, Kuroo's mouth breaks into a small smile.
                          
"I think the day is complete.", he says intertwining his fingers into yours.
                          
"You know, call me crazy, but I think I can taste f/c.", you say.
                          
"Couldn't guess why.", Kuroo replies as you both walk back home.
                          
a/n: oh lord i have no idea why that chapter was so hard to write. but 1145 words so yipee! also sorry for not updating for the past two days ;^; i still need to think of an excuse... but i hope you guys enjoyed!! thank you for taking time out of your day to read this chapter and have a wonderful rest of your day beautiful!
