I finally figured out how writing works. That took too long. So anyways, expect more professional writing because I finally know how to write (I think)
Evans POV:
"That last one actually sounds nice." I thought out loud, giving a dry chuckle.
"You have a point. But no," he shook his head, turning the key again and turning onto the road.
"I mean, is all of this worth the stress? I think...dying might actually be easier...?" I felt bad suggesting this.
"But what about like, Zoe?"
"What?"
"If we theoretically did die, she would've lost 4 people she cared for in less than a month."I sighed.
He made a good point.
"But we're either gonna starve to death, go to jail, or get killed out here if we don't do something about it." I tried to reason with him.
I don't have a clue what I'm doing. Killing off more people?? I guess I could call it that.
Giving myself what I deserve? Yeah...yeah that's what I'm planning on doing.
"And if I'm reading you right...we both want to do this.." he said cautiously.
"So I'm not the only one...?" I gave a sad smile.
"Nope." he took a painfully long sigh.
"Maybe we should just think about it." I suggested.
"Mhm.." he hummed in response.
I know. Another time skip. This is all the way until about 6pm, so the sun is starting to set. Oh yeah, they also got lunch during their drive and they bought a few water bottles. So they won't die. Maybe.
Jareds POV:
We got to a forest, the slight wind blowing the trees.
Our windows were rolled down as Taylor Swift played quietly on the radio.
Hey so uh, I know you've wanted to do this for a while now, and I think this is the perfect place to do it.
Wait what do you mean?
Scream literally anything you want. No one is around. I've checked. There hasn't been anyone for miles.
Holy shit you're right.
"Hey Ev?"
"Yeah?" he turned to me."Have you ever wanted to yell at the top of your lungs? Anything that you could imagine?" I asked, emphasizing the end part.
"I mean, who hasn't?" he gave a small chuckle, a hint of a smile showing.
"I think this would be the best place for that."
His eyes lit up, his smile growing as he seemed to get a million ideas at once.
"We should totally do that! I mean, like, only if you, you want to I mean..." he fidgeted nervously.
"If you're in with it, then let's do it."
I pulled over on the dirt road as we both got out quickly.
"Careful of the river!" I called after him as he ran towards the flowing water.
"So can I just...yell whatever I want?" he asked, looking down at our reflection in the water.
"Anything. I won't judge." I reassured him, putting a hand on his shoulder.
He hesitated for a second, before biting his lip and screaming out, "FUCK YOU DAD!" with a grin on his face.
"Never thought I'd feel that much weight being taken off of my shoulders at once..." he gave a surprised smile.
"Wanna take a turn?" he tilted his head.
I nodded, thinking of the best thing to say.
What's something you've wanted to say your whole life? Something you...desire?
I got it.
"I WISH I HAD A NORMAL CHILDHOOD!!" I yelled at the top of my lungs, breathing heavily.
I gave a sad smile, a few tears flowing down my cheeks and into the water.
"Damn that hurt my throat." I looked back at the water.
Both of our tears fell into the water.
At the same time too.
We both sat in the grass, leaning on each other as the sun set behind us.
Evan let out a small sob, "I love you." he whispered.
"I love you too honey..." I responded, combing my fingers through his soft hair.
We both sobbed silently, sitting on the edge of the river.
The only sound was the wind, and our matched breaths.
The water rippled as I tapped the tip of my shoe into it.
The water seeped in, making me shiver.
"The water's cold." I let out a genuine laugh, still swirling around in it.
Evan leaned down, putting his finger in it for a second, only to take it out and wipe it on the ground.
"Yeah, you're right." he smiled, his tears glimmering in the moonlight.
"We should probably get in the car. At least for the night. I don't wanna get stuck out here, I read enough fan fiction when I was a kid to know that it never ends well."
You're in a fan fiction. So I mean, what you just said doesn't really matter.
No, I know.
"Yeah, can we stay parked here though? The scenery is beautiful." I pulled him up, intertwining our fingers as I did this.
"Of course." I leaned up, giving him a small peck on the lips.
"Backseat?" I asked as I walked him over to the car.
He nodded with a soft smile.
I unlocked the door, we got in, blah blah blah. Long story short now we're cuddling in the back seat of my car.
"Goodnight, Ev. I love you."
"G'night...love ya' too." He mumbled, wrapping his arms around my waist and giving me a kiss on the forehead.I smiled to myself, letting my eyes close softly as I fell asleep.
Two chapters in less than 24 hours?? What is this?? The first month of me writing this?? (I feel like only a couple of people will get this joke)
