Drowning, Death and uh afterlife stuff????

Tommy gasped for breath as he woke from a terrifying nightmare. But a splash of water and the absence of a body next to him was what sent him into panic mode.

"Tubbo!" he cried. No response. He peered over the side of the boat to find frenzied splashes and waves coming from a certain place.

"No no no no," Tommy muttered. Every time he said the word it got more frantic and louder. He ripped his shirt off and leapt into the ice-cold water. He struggled to resist the urge to go back to the surface and huddle up with towels upon towels wrapped around him. Tommy mentally punched himself. Tubbo was dying and all he was thinking about was the sanctuary of his towels.

He swam directly down, ignoring the burning sensation from his lungs. Tubbo was sinking faster by the second. His attempts to save himself had become weak and less frequent. Suddenly he stopped. His body became still and air bubbles left his mouth. Tommy screamed but quickly realised his mistake as precious air left his lung. He tried to swallow as little water as he could. Tubbo was so close, he could almost touch him. Despite the growing urge to get air, he continued downwards. He was so close, just one more kick.

Wilby shoots POV -

"Guys? Tommy? Tubbo?! Damn it," cursed Wilbur as he slammed the walkie talkie on the table. He needed to get to the two boys. But how? Who even owned a boat? Wilbur didn't know of anyone who owned a boat but he decided to go to Sam's place. He was Tubbos brother after all so he was sure to be worried.

He took the path down to Sam's house. When he got there Sam was building another one of his redstone contraptions. He'd taught Tubbo everything he knew and the pair were always building something. Wilbur had seen Tubbo trying to teach Tommy some basic stuff, but his impatient brother never ended up learning anything. He got frustrated quite easily yet Tubbo still tried to drill some knowledge into his thick skull.

Those two were polar opposites but despite this, they were the most tight-knit pair on the entire server. Tubbo always knew how to calm Tommy down and Tommy was able to read Tubbo like a book. The bee boy was always portrayed as the soft and wholesome one but this wasn't always the case. Not to say that Tubbo was an absolute bitch when he wasn't with people because this was absolutely not the case. Tubbo was not the type of person to speak his mind. This led him to hide his feelings. He was good at it. Too good at it. During Schlatts rein he'd kept all his feelings inside and eventually became a ticking time bomb of emotion. After the festival ordeal, Tommy was finally reunited with his friend and could instantly tell something was up. Later that day Wilbur had found Tommy holding the frail boy as Tubbo poured his feelings out. Since that day Tommy had always watched Tubbo closely. He seemed to be able to tell when he was on the edge.

Sam's head jerked up as Wilbur approached. The tall male had grease and particles of redstone dotted on his face. He used the back of his hand to wipe the majority of it off before removing his gloves and stood to face the newcomer.

"What brings you round here, Wilbur?" Same question as he shook Wilburs hand.

"I'm here to ask for a favour," he replied.

"Shoot."

"I gather you were told about the boy's little adventure today."

"Tubbo did say he was going out with Tommy, but that's the extent of my knowledge," Sam said matter-of-factly.

"Those two ratbags have decided that heading out on a boat was the best way to spend the day. They've ended up getting lost without any fuel. Tubbo's arm is in a bad way due to a storm that hit last night," Wilbur filled Sam in on any details he needed to know.
