I came back out to the party wearing a black pair of jeans with no back pockets and white open toed pumps. I had a white shirt on, one side off the shoulder with a cinched waist. My hair was repinned the way it had been And all of the jewelry was replaced by diamonds.

I couldn't stop apologizing to Khandi about the clothes and stuff I had destroyed when Shifting.

"They were old," she said, waving a dismissive hand. "I only wore that shirt once. And those pants made my thighs look like they were the Hulk's thighs. You're fine, Misty."

She had left me to go follow Alessa to her friends. With a final wave, I turned back to the party. I couldn't pick up Lawrence's scent and he wasn't by the fountain. I had questions for him. And a lot of them.

One being, why had he let me beat the hell outta Grace's ass. It was fun, don't get me wrong, but he could have stopped us at any time. I didn't really see the point in letting me tear her apart. Wasn't it his job to discipline his Omegas?

I looked around. So many people. They had all applauded me. But for what? Was Grace really that bad of a person?

"I found her!"

I turned to see a girl and two boys running for me. The girl had long red hair and bright hazel eyes. She must have been five-foot-nine; she towered over me. She was wearing a grey dress that went to her thighs with matching grey ankle high boots. She wore a gold necklace with a sapphire arrow protruding through a ruby heart.

One of the guys looked...nerdy. His rim wired glasses kept sliding off his nose even after he fixed them as they ran. He had dark, charcoal eyes and milk chocolate hair. He was wearing tight jeans and a plain black T-shirt. He stood six-foot-one and lanky. He kind of looked like he was breathing a little heavy.

The other guy looked like a new age hipster. He had the classic thick black glasses. He had dark green eyes and long blonde hair that fell to his shoulders. He wore skinny jeans and a T-shirt that had a bunch of rainbow colored music notes.

They stopped in front of me. The girl said, "Hi! I'm Aurora. Rim over there, his real name is Jake. But I call him Rim. And this idiot over here is my Mate, Xander. But he's...he's just an idiot."

Holy crap, she was energetic. I smiled, saying, "Well, hi."

She laughed. It sounded like tinkling wind chimes. "I'm sorry. I've been trying to find you since you beat the hell out of Grace. Where did you learn to fight like that?"

"Aurora, calm down. You might be frightening her. And take a breath," Xander chided. He turned to me and smiled. "Sorry. She's easily excited. It's a pleasure to meet you, Luna."

I held up my hands, laughing. She reminded me of Cassidy, in a way. "It's nice to meet you, too. But Grace was right, I'm just an Omega. Like you guys. Call me Misty."

"Are you sure?" Jake asked carefully. "We wouldn't want to upset you."

I felt my heart warm up at their concern. They seemed to like me more than I thought. Unless Lawrence put them up to this...

"It's fine," I said. "Don't worry about it. I said you can." I smiled and Aurora came beside me and hooked her arm through mine.

"Well," she said, "let's have fun! No doubt after the show with Grace, people will love you."

I sat in my room, the party over. My entire body ached as if a leprechaun had been doing the river dance on top of me. Aurora had me dancing the rest of the night with her and her friends. I met a few more of the kids I would be attending school with and a few of the adults. Even Alessa had come to dance with me.
