third person.
"i miss corbyn."
"that's a first," nicole replied, looking over at mollie with a small smile, noticing the glare she had been receiving, "i'm kidding."
"why don't you invite him over then..?" max asked his sister from the kitchen, staring at his phone screen.
"because he's busy idiot," mollie rolled her eyes, "he's doing famous things."
"mhm," he slowly nodded, paying little to no attention to the girl as she furrowed her eyebrows slightly, sitting up to look over at him.
"who are you texting?"
"why?"
"because you're distracted."
"just someone," he shrugged, "why does that concern you?"
"i want to know who it is." mollie told him.
"stop being so nosey." max said, walking over to both her and nicole before he sat down on the chair next to the couch they were sitting on.
"it's obviously someone i don't like because you're being off about it." she mentioned, sitting back in her seat as nicole was glancing between the two of them.
"or maybe i just don't want to tell my sister about every single person i know." max argued.
"you don't know many people."
"mollie would you just shut-"
"okay," nicole interrupted the boy, "let's not get violent, i don't want to witness a fight."
"are you messaging an ex?" mollie asked, folding her arms and narrowing her eyes slightly as max glanced up at her.
"does that matter?"
"yes because you only have two, one is a girl who moved away and the other is astrid." mollie told him, raising her eyebrows slightly.
"just stop being so nosey." he said, looking up at her as he turned off his phone, "if it concerned you, i would've told you."
"sure," she replied, a sarcastic tone in her voice before she grabbed her phone and looked down at it.
max let out a sigh, shaking his head before he stood himself up and walked upstairs towards his room, just as nicole turned to look at the girl.
"i'm sure it's fine." nicole shrugged.
"let's think about this," mollie said, placing her phone down before turning towards nicole.
"are you sure you want to do that?"
"yes." she nodded, "he wouldn't message astrid because of what she did, and wouldn't message that other ex because he hasn't spoke to her in like five years."
"okay..?"
"usually when he texts his friends he's not that distracted so-"
"i think you're looking into this too much." nicole interrupted her, tilting her head slightly as mollie furrowed her brows, "i don't think it's a big deal."
"but he got defensive," mollie mentioned, watching nicole slowly nod.
"he's your brother, he's going to get defensive." she shrugged, "please don't overthink it."
"i won't overthink it."
"good, now do you want to go get some food?" she asked as she looked at the girl, watching her pause for a few seconds, "not hungry..?"
