We were walking together while Harry was explaining us what he did find out. "It was Hagrid. Hagrid opened the Chamber of Secrets 50 years ago. "It can't be Hagrid." - "It just can't be." I finished Hermione's sentence. 
                          
"We don't even know this Tom Riddle. He sounds like a dirty, rotten snitch to me." Ron said causing me to giggle. "The monster had killed somebody, Ron. What would any of us have done?" Harry snapped. "Look, Hagrid's our friend. Why don't we just go and ask him about it?" I suggested.
                          
"That would be a cheerful visit. 'Hello, Hagrid. Tell us, have you been setting anything mad and hairy loose in the castle lately?'" - "Mad and hairy? You wouldn't be talking about me, now, would you?" Hagrid said approaching from behind. "No." We all said. Hagrid looked at us and I smiled innocently at him. "What's that you've got, Hagrid?" Harry asked to distract from the subject.
                          
"It's Flesh-Eating Slug Repellent. For the Mandrakes, you know. Now, according to Professor Sprout, they've still got a bit of growing up to do. But once their acne's cleared up, we'll chop them up and stew them and then we'll get those people down at the hospital un-Petrified." Hagrid explained and we nodded. 
                          
"In the meantime though, you four had best be looking after yourselves. All right?" Hagrid said calmly and we all nodded. After he left I glared at them. "Harry, it wasn't Hagrid." I snapped. 
                          
Then Neville ran up to us. "Harry, I don't know who did it, but you'd better come. Come on!" Neville said out of breath. We all shared a look and followed Neville to the boys dormitories. It was a totally chaos and my eyes widened. 
                          
"Ouch, boys. You better clean this." I suggested sarcastically but they glared at me. "Sorry." I said raising my hands up in defense. "It had to be a Gryffindor. Nobody else knows out password. Unless it wasn't a student." Hermione said and I kneeled down next to Harry. 
                          
"What are you looking for?" I whispered and patted his shoulder. "Whoever it was, they must have been looking for something." - "And they found it." Harry replied. "Tom Riddle's diary is gone." Harry said and I huffed. 
                          
"Hermione and I are going to the library. See you later. Oh, and Harry, please take care of you." I said and hugged him. "I love you." Harry said. "I love you too." I mumbled and pulled away. "(Y/N)?" - "Yes?" - "Please be careful." Harry worried and I gave him a kiss on his cheek. "I will." I said and Harry handed me a small mirror. "If that thing is there." - "Thanks." I said and Hermione and I left the common room.
                          
"I hope we can find something." Hermione said and I nodded. "We can do this." I smiled at her and she nodded.
                          
Hermione and I sat in the library looking for books that talked about the monster in the Chamber of Secrets. "Hermione, look." I showed her the page and her eyes widened. 
                          
"The basilisk." I read aloud. Hermione shushed me and tore the page out. "Come on." She said and we ran out of the library. As we did we heard strange noises. "Hermione-." I whispered and she gulped. "Harry and Ron will solve it." I sighed and Hermione took my hand.
                          
"It's the basilisk, isn't it." She questioned and it came closer. I nodded and we both ran back into the library. We ran as fast as we could and stopped at a table. "Shit." I mumbled and heard the voice again. "It's in here." I said and she gulped. "Come on." She started to run and I followed her.
                          
I turned and held out my hand.  I focused on what I wanted to achieve and lightning shot from my hands causing bookshelves to fall and break.
                          
"What the-" - "Don't tell anyone." I snapped and she nodded. We continued running and we stopped at the exit.
We left the library but it was too late. The basilisk heard us and followed us.
I took a look in my small mirror to see what was behind us. Then everything went black.
