Todoroki’s pov

He kept kicking and punching it wouldn’t stop. He wouldn’t stop. I stood up and tried to defend myself, it was hard only being able to use one eye. He attacked my left side and since I couldn’t see through the bandage on my eye I wasn’t able to dodge completely and my leg got burnt. After about another 30 minutes he was still beating me up. Who could beat up a 6 year old like this? I was looking forward for this to be over so momma can make me feel better, so she could hold me and keep me safe from dad. That’s when I remembered that she wasn’t here anymore. He sent her away. It wasn’t her fault that she hurt me. It was his. It was his fault for pushing her to do that. I hate him. I was pulled from my thoughts by a kick to the stomach. I couldn’t take this anymore. So I got up and put all of my strength into incasing his feet with ice to the floor. It wasn’t strong but it should hold long enough. I bolted out of the front door and started running. I was barefoot and bleeding all over, not to mention it was raining. However I just kept running. I heard my father scream my name but I ignored him. After I thought I had ran far enough I stepped into an alley and sat down behind a dumpster. My burnt leg hurt from running but I was finally away, I could rest. I closed my eyes and enjoyed listening to the sound of the rain.

Aizawa’s pov

I finished giving the villain to the police and returned to my patrol. Luckily I was patrolling in the richer neighborhood tonight so there aren't as many villains around. Mostly top pro heroes live in this neighborhood so the crime rates are low in the area. I was walking past an alley when I heard quiet sniffling. I slowly walked into the dark alley with my hand on my capture weapon and saw a small huddled figure behind a dumpster. The closer I got to the figure the more I noticed just how small the person was. They looked like they were a child, maybe a 5 to 6 year old. I quickly deemed the kid not a threat and pulled my hand down from my capture scarf. It seemed like the kid heard me and jolted his head up. He had half red-half white hair and one grey eye and one turquoise eye. He looked so scared, but the thing that concerned me the most was that he had bandages around his eye and he was covered in burns and bruises.

“Hey kid I’m the Pro Hero Eraserhead, I want to help you. Are you alright?” I asked him. He just curled back into himself and whimpered. It was obvious this kid was pretty hurt, he needed a hospital.

“How did you get here?” I asked. He was untrusting so I had to get him to open up first so I can help him.

“I-I ran.” He said. I was surprised, with the way his leg is it must have been hard to run here.

“Do you live in the area?” I asked.

“Y-yeah.” He responded.

“Ok. Now can you tell me why you are out here?” I asked him.

“H-he wouldn’t stop t-training m-me, i-it h-hurt s-so I r-ran out of the f-front d-door.” He managed to tremble out.

“Ok, who is he?” I asked him intrigued.

“M-my d-dad.” He said. I struggled to keep in a gasp. Did he do this?

“Is he the one who hurt you?” I asked him and when he nodded his head in response I felt a pang of anger in my chest.

“Ok well your injuries are pretty bad so I’m going to take you to the hospital ok?” I said as I slowly approached him.

“N-NO! YOU CAN’T HE’LL FIND ME THERE!” He said as he stumbled back against the wall. I figured that since he wouldn’t let me take him to the hospital I would have to treat his injuries here because there was no way I could just leave him. Thankfully I had a small first aid kit on me so I could patch him up at least a little.
