'KENZIE,' johnny shrieked as he jumped on top of his girlfriend on the bed. Kenzie let out a squeal of shock as she shielded her face with her nimble fingers. johnny cornered her as he hovered above her.

she pulled away and lay the side of her cheek on his chest.
                          
'john,' She said.
                          
'yep,' he hummed while playing with strands of her hair.
                          
'why haven't you gotten me a promise ring,' she asked.
                          
'what?' he asked thinking he had heard her wrongly.

'uh never occurred to me?' he said scratching the back of his neck. she propped herself with her elbows on his chest. 
                          
she pouted and looked at him.
                          
'get me a promise ring john,' she said.
                          
'sure,' he said chuckling as he pushed her to his side getting up.
                          
she let out a squeak and climbed back on his chest.
                          
'not now,' she said,'now let's watch a movie,'
                          
she spun herself around laying on his chest but this time being able to face the tv.
                          
he laughed and shifted so they were comfortable.
                          
'why do you want a promise ring?' johnny then asked. 
                          
'no reason,' she hummed scheming through the lists of movie on netflix but not being able to find anything.
                          
but he heard the edge in her voice.
                          
'kenz? why?' he asked again furrowing his eyebrows. she didn't respond instead she continued using to controller.
                          
johnny leant forward an grabbed it out of her hand, as he sat upright.
                          
he moved her so she was laying on his lap
                          
'what is it?' he asked again. she let out a flustered sigh.
                          
'i-its just,' she began,'there are rumours on Instagram saying I'm not good enough, too ugly, and well I haven't been feeling the greatest about it, so I didn't know wether you love loved me so you know I wanted something that proved those rumours wrong,'
                          
she looked up at him and saw that his face held no emotion. she let out a nervous laugh and shook her head.
'i-it's stupid,' she laughed.
'no princess I want you know that I love you, so so so much, whatever does haters say it's not true, you are amazing, beautiful and my girl,' he said.
                          
'i love you and no stupid comment can change the way I look at you,' 
                          
she smiled at him with tears in her eyes. he leant down and left a small kiss on her lips.
                          
she let out a laugh and brushed the tears away.
                          
'thanks john I needed that,' she said. he shook his head wiping the tears away with his thumb.
                          
'hey,' he said,'you tell me if you are not feeling yourself okay?' 
                          
she smiled and nodded as he began playing a random movie.
