Jasmine woke up to a hard slap against her face. She jolted awake and glared at the woman.
"Guess your wish is finally coming true. The King is calling for you."

The guard untied the ropes and grabbed her but as soon as she stood up, she fell to the ground. He pulled her up again by the arm and forced her to walk, not giving her any chance to rest. Her hands were tied together with rope along with the master chains and her legs were shackled in tighter chains.

When she reached the King's room, Mei informed the guard that he should not let go of her no matter what.

"So it seems your brother wasn't the only one lying to me," Hwang Shik spat.
Jasmine held a plain expression not caring about anything he had to say.

"The beta. His hair isn't blond."
"Yes it is."
"You liar!" The King bellowed.
"I had no reason to lie," she stated flatly.
"Really? So you didn't lie about not being able to vanish in the leg chains?"
"That was simply a one time occurrence," she lied again.
"What color is his hair?" The King questioned becoming annoyed.
"I told you it's blond."

The King's patience ran out and he stood up from his throne and stomped towards her. He brought his hand up to strike her but she ducked and moved to the side causing his hand to land squarely against the guard's face. Shocked and stunned, he let go, and in an instant, she was gone.

"YOU IDIOT!" Mei shouted at the guard.

Hwang Shik became furious and took out his anger on the guard.

"Sir, what should we do?" The alpha Seung Cho had sent to confirm with the King spoke.

"Just bring him to me!" He yelled frustrated and annoyed.

The illusion pirates were all gathered in the kitchen, waiting on Kei to finish cooking. As soon as he turned off the stove, they heard it.
Jain felt her heart tremble in her chest.

"IAN?" Jasmine shouted.

They all stared at each other for a few seconds before running down to the main deck.
"Ian? Where's Ian?" She said frantically counting heads. Everybody was there except him.
"Fuck did I vanish him to the wrong place? He was hurt so bad and it's my fault," she cried.

Jain watched as her lover became a little frantic before breaking down. The beta's clothes were worn out. She had all different types of marks and scars on her legs and arms and they were both shackled. Jain felt terrible. She felt terrible for saying 'Jasmine will be alright' so easily.

She ran up to her and grabbed her hands.
"Ian is fine. He's doing great thanks to you. You did great Jasmine. You saved him," she comforted her lover feeling a lump in her throat.
Jasmine looked at her and smiled softly.
"Thank heavens," she breathed softly and in seconds, she blacked out.

The second shift had taken over for the night while the soldiers who were fighting all day went to rest. Due to lack of space, the boys all shared one room. It was better in the end because they had each other's backs.

"Anybody hurt?" Jongho asked when he entered the room.
"We're fine but San and Hongjoong aren't here yet," Wooyoung mentioned.
"I'm sure they'll be here soon," Jongho said.

They were served food and all four of them sat on the floor to eat.

"Yunho. Did you see the Queen's outfit today?" Wooyoung perked. Yunho rolled his eyes already knowing where this was going and Mingi chuckled.
"I told you! There's no such thing as a battle worthy outfit. You can wear whatever empowers you," he said confidently.
