**Max's POV**
I was sat in the music studio of mine and my girlfriend's apartment just messing around on my guitar. I started thinking about y/n, about how happy she makes me and how much I love her when I got and idea. 
Y/N had been feeling down lately so to cheer her up, I decided to do a little something to cheer her up. I decided I was going to write her a song then do a little adventure like we do and pull up at our hill and serenade her. 
As I was about to get my song notebook, I heard the door click open. I turned around to see y/n.
''What's up?'' I ask while motioning for to come sit next to me.
''Just wanted to see my boyfriend and get a cuddle.'' She says as she sat down and rested her head on my shoulder. 
''Okay. I like that thought.'' I say with a smile.
We sit there like that for a few minutes just in silence.
''Okay, enough cuddles. You have work to do mister.'' She says, lifting up her head and getting up.
''And I have dinner to make.'' She says opening the door and leaving.
As she's going down the stairs, I hear an I love you. I chuckle and shout back I love you too.
While I had a bit of time I decided to try and write some lyrics.
''Dinner's ready'' I heard y/n shout as I wrote the last lyric in my notebook.
I headed downstairs to see y/n placing two plates on the dinner table. I went up to her and wrapped my arms around her waist.
''Looks and smells delicious'' I say as I place a kiss onto her shoulder. 
''Well that's cause it's your favourite'' She says.
''Still your cooking and your not arguing with me on this.'' I say turning her around to face me.
''Your an excellent cook'' I say before placing a kiss on her lips before she could reply.
''Now let's eat.''
We sat down and ate our food while having a conversation about the upcoming tour and anything else we could think of.
''That was lovely but I'm going to do a bit more work'' I say as I head upstairs.
''Your just avoiding doing the dishes but I'll let you off this one time'' She says with a laugh.
I sat down at the desk in my at home studio and decided I needed to work a tune to go with the lyrics I had. I grabbed my guitar and got right to work.
A hour later and I had finished the tune which meant it was ready and all that was left was to set up the surprise.
I grabbed my car keys off the side and slipped on my shoes. 
''Hey, where you going?'' She says coming to stand next to me and I finished tying up my laces.
''Hey, I'm going to go show Harvey a new song. I'll be back in a hour, I promise'' I say placing a kiss to her lips.
''Alright. I love you'' She says as I leave.
As soon as I sit down in my car, I send a text to Harvey incase she rings him or anything.
I pull up to the hill and grab the supplies out of my car. We always had blankets and a guitar in my car. We always keep them in there incase y/n had a night where she couldn't sleep.
I placed the blankets down and put my guitar on top. I figured I should probably get some source of light so I checked the time on my phone. I had enough time to go find something from the local shop. 
So, I got in my car and started my small journey to the shop. I entered the shop to see some of those fake tea lights. I grabbed a bag of fifteen and went up to the counter to pay.
Once I payed, I got back in my car and started my way back to the hill.
I placed the fake tea lights around the outside of the blankets. I checked everything was okay and went back to my car to start the journey back.
I entered the house to see y/n sat on the sofa watching Friends as per usual.
''Hey babe'' I say and sit down next to her.
''Hey, did he like the song?'' She says while turning to face me.
''Actually, I didn't go to Harvey's. I went to set up a surprise for you. So, let's go get your shoes on and I can show you the surprise before you kill me because hate surprises'' I say while pulling her up off the sofa.
''Max, what did you do?'' She asks as she sits down in the passenger seat.
''You'll see'' I say while entwining our fingers and placing our hands over the gear stick.
''I love you but also hate you at the same time right now'' She says.
''I love you too darling'' I say playfully.
I pull up at the hill and y/n looks outside as a smile creeps onto her face.
''So it includes something to do with our hill'' She says as I step out the car and run around to her side to open the door for her.
I grab her hand once she's out the car and pull her up to the top of the hill where the surprise is.
''Seriously Max, what's going on'' She says as she sits down next to me and noticing me pick up the guitar.
''I know it's cliché but I wrote you a song and you can deny it all you want but I know you love me being cliché'' I say and start strumming away.

I finish the song to see a smile on y/n's smile. I place the guitar down next to me.
''I loved it and I love you'' She says.
''I love you too'' I say and lean in to share a long and passionate kiss.
I'm glad that she entered my life even if took a while.
