Leo's POV
I woke up and looked out of the window. It was snowing. I hoped that the snow wouldn't get too heavy because I was supposed to be flying to America in the night to visit somebody.
I walked downstairs into the living room and Joey was sat there with Megan. Megan and Joey had been a thing for a year now. They got together just before Charlie and Keeley did.
"Morning" I said while I fell into the arm chair and wacked my knee.
"Whoa , watch out , you're supposed to let your eyes adjust before you try and walk around in the morning" Joey joked. I sat down on the chair.
"I have no time to be adjusting , I'm getting ready to go to America" I reminded Joey.
"Oh yeah , are you sure that you don't want me to come with you?" Joey asked.
"No , I'm 16 now Joey , I can do this alone , with Charlie" I said.
"Ok then" replied Joey "Are you excited?"
"Sort of , I haven't seen Sarah for two years. I can't wait to catch up with her and see how her life is getting on" I explained.
"You have fun then , tell me how her brother is getting on , I remember him , Sam wasn't it?" Joey asked.
"I think you mean Sean" I said.
"Yes I did" he replied.
"I'm going to get ready" I announced and then I went back upstairs to get ready. I put on my clothes and then packed some last minute things like my laptop. I then picked up my phone and rang Charlie.
"Hi" he said.
"Hello , where are you?" I asked.
"I'm about five minutes away" he replied.
"You're driving and on the phone?" I asked shocked.
"Oh , God no , I'm on speaker phone , I answered it when I was at a traffic light , anyway I'll be there soon ok? You don't need to keep checking up on me" said Charlie.
"Alright , I'll leave you to drive now but don't do anything stupid that will get you pulled over" I replied jokingly.
"Oh as if" Charlie laughed "I'll see you in a minute , bye"
"Bye" I said and then I ended the call. I then grabbed my cases and took them downstairs just as Charlie pulled up the driveway in his car. I opened the door and welcomed him inside. We then went through into the living room so that Charlie could have a rest before driving to the airport.
"So are you excited to see Sarah?" Charlie asked me.
"A bit , it's going to be great to surprise her for her birthday" I said. We were supposed to be staying in a hotel for the night and then we were going to surprise her at her sweet sixteen party.
"You're only a bit excited? You've been saving money for this trip for two years" Charlie said sounding shocked.
"I'll be more excited when we arrive there" I said.
"Let's get going now then" said Charlie leading me out.
