"At least I'm aware of who I am." Sarcastically smiling as she upheld her chained wrists; the fetters clanging as the Captain hid his frown, "At least I'm aware of the chains that bind me."
Staring down at her, she eventually sighed, resting her chin in her hands and turning her back to the clone. Moving her hands, the chains continued to clash; only causing him to cringe as both her words and the snarky chimes rang in his mind...
...As well as the mocking buzz of her cell.
Exasperatedly closing his eyes, Rex exhaled, turning his back on the teen; ruefully walking away from her. Casting a glance back, he tried to catch her ever greying eyes — but, she wouldn't give him the chance.
Not again.
Tilting his head away, he murmured amongst her deafening imprisonment, "I'm sorry."
Picking her head up, she watched him leave, lip curling as she glared after him.
"You will be."
