Yes, yes. I know what the title says, and I'm pretty sure no one dies in this chapter. If there are any typos or mistakes please let me know! Anyway, I don't own any art or the characters of in this fanfic, and I hope you enjoy this chapter!

Nico POV
                          
Unfortunately for Nico, and the human race, once Nico had eaten his first human, he couldn’t stop himself. He continued this every night, so no one could see him. 
                          
And every time he ate, he wanted to kill himself. He wanted to cry. He just wanted it to all end. But he couldn’t stop. It was like a potato chip, once you had one, you just couldn’t help yourself.
                          
Okay, maybe not the best example.
                          
Whenever he finished his meal he would feel disgusting. But it always satisfied him, and, much to his hatred, he loved the taste.
                          
Eventually, other people started to notice that someone would go missing every night. They called Nico the sea monster, and people stopped swimming in the ocean. Much to Nico’s gratitude, and dismay.
                          
He thought that now he would stop eating innocent people. But he didn’t. His instincts made him go onto shore, as a human, and sing to lure his prey back to the ocean. Unknownst to the humans, Nico was just as scared as they were. 
                          
Sometimes, Nico would bring someone who wasn’t what his instincts wanted him to eat, so he would curse them with insanity, and send them back to shore.
                          
One day, people had bombed Nico’s cave, and swam down there to kill him. of course, this didn’t work. It only managed to spark up another of Nico’s curses, his temper. 
                          
He felt his fangs grow, his nails sharpen, and his eyes turned a nasty color between yellow and red. He had ripped them to shreds, eating their remains, and cursing the ones who managed to get away. 
                          
When he turned normal, he looked around and realised what happened. He was full, his cave was in rubble, and there were bones scattered across the ocean floor. He broke down and cried. Cried for his punishment to end, cried to help those people who he’d killed, cried to die.
