"A Little Bit Off"
Opening ThemeFriends were more than happy for the greatest achievement so far; victory over Bismarck Academy. They all celebrated on the battlefield, as Erik watched them from the distance, smiling. He knew he couldn't beat Dmitri easily and was little angry by that fact, but at the same time he wanted Dmitri to take this chance to prove that even with impossible odds one team can still win against powerful opponent.
Tankers returned home and rested well before the great finale - the final clash in the final round with KPA, which defeated Guerilla Force Academy four days ago and reserved its place in the final round. Krasnaya Zvezda will only have few days to prepare for the great finals. Dmitri knows very well that KPA will not show any mercy so he needs to make a proper plan.
...
Dmitri isin his room, with KPA's full list of tanks and all specifications in details. He's got a map and carefully analyzed all difficulties - his former school not only has formidable tanks, but has the most skilled tanker known for his proficiency in battle - his own brother, Yuri, so called The Lion of Sinai.
Dmitri: "They are strongest team known to me. But, if I manage to isolate Yuri's IS-2, we can duel it and we might have a chance to win, since I know how Yuri fights. If we stick together and don't rush, I'm sure we have some chances against them. But still their 25 tanks on just 7 of ours is pretty big number. Higher ground should be enough to keep an eye on the large formation."
After he formed a brief plan, he wanted to rest a bit so he went outside for a walk. Yazov gave him a jacket and a warm hat. He went to the school to check on the KV-1. The fact he will face his brother brought back some memories, but also the nightmare which he simply ignored.
Dmitri: "You've got this far, and you won't step back. Some stupid nightmare won't bring me down anymore." he breathed in an out.
He walked to the garage and saw his tank is not there. Confused at first, he heard a familiar, loud roar of the engine outside. To his surprise, he saw the KV-1 right in front of him. Ilya stood on top of the tank once Alek parked the tank outside. It began snowing.
Ilya: "This time we're a lot better, guys."
Evgeniy: "That was our best round! We'll show them tomorrow!"
Alek: "You know, I got little hungry from this training."
Dmitri: "Guys?"
Ilya: "Oh, hi!"
Dmitri: "What were you doing in this hour, guys? It's cold outside."
Vanya: "We've been training for a good while nw because tomorrow is a big day for all of us. What are you doing here?"
Dmitri: "I went for a walk so I decided to stop by and inspect our tank. I made a brief plan for a fight against KPA a while ago."
Ilya: "You must be a real professional when you make plans on your own. I'm bit surprised that Zhukov isn't there to help you with plans." he is jokingly, imitating how Zhukov salutes.
Dmitri: "Actually, I never needed help with plans because I just want everyone to relax before any battle. For myself, I know I won't let my guard down or panic."
