" So why are we doing this " seth groaned.
                          
" Because jayden doesn't see his grandpas and grandmas anymore not like he used to I don't want them to loose their relationship." I rolled my eyes as I carried a sleeping jayden in my arms.
                          
Today we're having a grandparents day we're going to my parents for dinner and then Seth's parents for brunch obviously he isn't too excited to spend a day with his parents.
                          
We're on our way to his house and I don't know if it was instinct but I just held his hand to assure him it would be ok.
                          
We pulled up to Darcy and Tanners house.
                          
We knocked on the door and Darcy have me and jayden the biggest hug
                          
" Where's my so called brother " seth rolled his eyes.
                          
" He's working he says sorry he couldn't make it."
                          
Tanner smiled I knew he was holding his irritation.
                          
" Oh autumn I haven't seen you in so long " 
                          
"I know maybe the party when we uhm departed." I tried to make it less awkward.
                          
" Oh yea that " she looked hurt.
                          
" Darcy I'm so sorry for that it wasn't right for me to do that I just wasn't thinking properly " I tried not to cry.
                          
" Honey please don't cry I understand I never was upset with you I understood your reasons "
                          
" But I love him I've never stopped "
                          
She paused.
                          
" You still love him?"
                          
" Yes I've never stopped ever since I laid my eyes on him sophomore year I know deep inside and I wasn't fair to him dammit I wasn't! Once someone came I got distracted I guess I've done it because he was the only guy really that caught my attention and I didn't have time to explore so I did it when we dated I really want to give him another chance but this time I want to be the one asking for it"
                          
" Well honey what are you looking to ask him."
                          
" What do you mean"
                          
"I mean do you want him back as your boyfriend or..."
                          
At that moment I knew what I wanted him as and it wasn't going to be my boyfriend.
                          
I smiled and it was like she already knew my answer.
                          
Brunch was amazing seth calmed his nerves and it was nice us jayden got to spend time with his grandparents as we said goodbye we headed to my house.
                          
" You ok autumn "
Seth asked
                          
" I'm fine just thinking " I smiled.
                          
" So your parents " he chuckled 
                          
" What "
                          
" I have a felling they don't like me too well" 
                          
" Well you did get their baby girl pregnant at a young age." I smirked 
                          
" But they did get their amazing grandson" he smirked back 
                          
We parked and I smiled I loved my childhood home I used to hate the ugly yellow color but now looking at it it brought the feeling of calmness to me.
                          
In the front I saw my dad and mom with my sister sitting and soaking up the sun.
                          
" Hi mom. hi dad. hi Lea " I waved 
                          
My dad got up and hugged me.
                          
Seth soon walked over to us.
                          
"Hi mr and mrs. Johnson " he smiled 
                          
" Hello seth " they both said 
                          
" Hi seth can I hold jayden " my sister smiled.
                          
" Yea here you go careful he's getting heavier."
                          
" Thanks for having us for dinner " I smiled
                          
" Anytime sweetie" my mom smiled.
                          
"Nice to see you seth " my dad smiled 
                          
Wait he smiled at seth what how weird?
                          
" Nice to see you too mr. Johnson " seth gave him famous smile.
                          
" Well let's all go inside and enjoy some dinner."
                          
" What are we having mom?" I asked 
                          
She looked at me and smiled " dinner" 
                          
I rolled my eyes she always did that to me and my sister.
                          
My dad then whispered to seth " were having chicken pot pie autumns favorite "
                          
I then smiled at my dad I'm glad he didn't hate seth as much anymore.
                          
We all sat down at the table even jayden and enjoyed the heavenly dish of chicken pot pie my mom made from scratch.
                          
" So honey how's everything " my dad asked 
                          
I watched Lea feed jayden and smiled " everything's great dad I have a job I work with seth at the surf shack pays very well since we're the only ones working there I'm saving up for college for jayden and myself " I smiled.
                          
" Wow honey were so proud of you" my mom looked at me and smiled approvingly.
                          
" Yea it's time to think about the future I'm going to do community college and then go to the local university and study marine biology as I agreed to do junior year of high school." 
                          
My dad smiled at me I knew he was proud of me " that's great sweetie and how about you seth."
                          
" I actually wanted to study the same thing I'm sorry autumn didn't mean to take your glory " 
                          
" No that's amazing seth " I smiled 
                          
" two scientists hmm not to shabby" my dad laughed.
                          
We finished our pot pie which was delicious it started to get late and I decided we should go home.
                          
" Bye mom and dad thanks for having us we will do this soon I promise " I hugged both of them.
                          
" Thank you again it was amazing "  Seth smiled at my parents 
                          
" We'll see you soon " my mom waved at the door.
                          
I put jayden in and started he car as seth came in.
                          
" Now was that so bad?" I smiled 
                          
" No it actually wasn't" he buckled up.
                          
" Do you think they like me now" he smirked.
                          
I looked at him and rolled my eyes this felt so nice and felt so right.
