"How is she?" A hooded figure asked silently in fear of being heard as another made their way behind a thick oak tree. "She wanders the grounds alone at night sometimes." One of them whispered, observing the area around them. "She hasn't visited?" The other asked curiously as they peered up at an unfamiliar castle before them. "Why would she? She gave it to Albus."

It went silent for a moment; the trees rustling in the wind from high up above them as sticks and branches snapped around them from Merlin knows what. "How do you know this?" The figure spat furiously after some time. The other more delicate one spoke up, taking out their wand to protect themselves from whatever was lurking in the forbidden forest. "Because he showed up the other week... luckily he couldn't figure out how to get in."

Elektra lay in her bed, unable to sleep from the evening's events. A kiss that she wouldn't forget anytime soon, a friendship on a rocky path and a war preparing itself over the horizon. Hermione's snores softly filled the room as El listened closely, trying to find something to take her mind off of everything.

When was the Ministry invasion due to take place? And why hadn't Sirius wrote to her about it? Huffing loud, she bolted upright in her bed; her knees scrunched up to her chest. She needed a sleeping potion from Slughorn's collection at this rate!

"What's going on?" Jada mumbled, rubbing her tired eyes, "What time is it?" She sat up, grabbing her watch from the table next to her. "Four in the morning! El, what are you doing up?" El huffed, "Thinking." Jada yawned, slowly swinging her feet to the floor. "Thinking at this time is never good." She put her slippers on, and tiredly made her way to El's bed, sinking into the mattress underneath her. "There's going to be an attack on the Ministry sometime soon," El admitted quietly, trying not to wake Hermione up. "Is this what Matt was talking about?" Jada asked. El nodded her head, "He overheard Remus, who was talking about it with Dumbledore." It went silent as they both felt fear creeping inside of them. "They're going to fight," El mumbled sadly, as Jada's eyes widened. "Oh, God..." She spoke softly as El nodded in agreement, "I'm going to fight alongside them." She bravely admitted, fumbling with her fingers. Jada turned her head around quickly, "What? El-" But El didn't want to hear it.

"I don't care about safety anymore, Jada! There's a war right around the corner, and I don't want to be remembered as the girl with the powers who did nothing to stop it!" She huffed, raising her voice slightly. "I'm going to help them. I'm seventeen next year, so I'm nearly an adult. I don't want to be babied by Remus my entire life. I want to show them that I can do the right thing on my accords." Jada thought for a second; her face scared and confused as she went over everything in her mind. She huffed slightly, as she climbed more onto the bed, sitting next to El under the covers. "You're my best friend, and best friends do everything together- so as much as I'd rather not," She took a breath in, "-count me in."

The morning slowly went by, and El and Jada had already persuaded a few people to help them on their secret quest to fight alongside the Order. The only rule was not to tell anyone else outside the group, especially not the Professors. Ginny had agreed in a heartbeat, eager to fight and prove to everyone that she could do just that. Harry had agreed to instantaneously, who promised to persuade Ron. Hermione was less than thrilled at the idea but understood plain and simple that the Wizarding World needed as many fighters as possible. Ginny had spoken with Luna Lovegood, who was up for the challenge, which left Jada and El to talk with Matteo.

He was on the Quidditch Pitch, practising with his other Ravenclaw teammates when Jada and El got there. They climbed high into the stadium seats, taking their places amongst other girls who had come to watch. "This is so embarrassing." El mumbled, feeling more than uncomfortable being in a crowd of hungry eyed girls for the boy she had kissed the night before. "You have to admit that Ravenclaw has the most attractive boys on their team." Jada said, eyeing up the pitch eagerly. El looked at her curiously, "What about the girls?" Jada froze, turning her head to where El was. "What about them?"
