AN: I went back and did some editing! Grammar errors should be mostly patched now, and I added a bit more detail-wise. Hopefully, this means I can finish this ol' thing up, huh?

Gosh- 2021 seems like forever ago... Enjoy the new and improved part, my fellow Nexo Nerds! ^w^

Far away on a small island, a fortress stood tall and proud within the midst of the lush greenery. The master of the island, Chen, was lounging on his oversized chair. One of his lesser henchmen with a skull adorning his head was writing out the list of elemental fighters that were invited as his master listed them off. The minion had his work cut out for him as he frantically scribbled down the names Chen listed off with no pause.

"...we also invited the Master of Speed, Master of Sound, Master of Shadow, Master of Fire, Master of Poison, and that should be all!" Chen exclaimed, finally stopping to take a breath.

The henchman's pencil snapped as he finished the list, letting out a sigh of relief. He had probably never written that much non-stop in his entire life.

A slender figure moved to the side of Chen's throne from out of the shadow, making the poor henchman jump with a yelp of surprise. This new figure stayed mostly hidden, although her yellow eyes were quite visible because of how ominously they glowed in the dark.

"What about the Master of Nexo Power that I informed you about?" The woman asked Chen in an almost raspy voice. "And have you drained the powers of the Masters of Monsters yet? They are too much of a threat to-"

"Oh, you worry too much, Ruina!" Chen whined, waving her off as he readjusted on his throne. "The boy will accept our invitation. I have those other two Masters locked up and one of them drained down to almost nothing! The one boy we have locked up hardly showed any signs of having powers in the first place, so I just have him chained up for now. The invitation has been placed and he will be sure to accept if he truly cares about his friend. Did you get that Clouse?"

Chen craned his neck to look past Ruina, looking over at the henchman that was walking off. A new figure appeared in the doorway, taking the list into his hands and looking it over as the lesser henchman retreated with a bow.

"Yes, master," Clouse replied, looking up from the list in his hands. "It shall be done."

Clay was busying himself, swiping at rock monsters with his Nexo-powered claymore in the Fortrex's training room. The virtual AI hardly put up a fight against him, almost disappointing the blue knight. He sighed as the digital rocky landscape disappeared, signaling the end of the training session.

"Wow, a new record," Ava commented in a flat tone over the intercom.

The blue knight didn't say a thing as he signaled Ava to run it again. She nodded to herself from the other room where she sat, booting up another training simulation for him. As he destroyed more monsters, Merlok appeared on a screen, a concerned look on his digital face.

"Clay? Is something bothering you?" The Digi-wizard asked, although he already suspected that Clay wasn't in the best state of mind.

Clay grunted as he swiped through the last hologram and thrust his sword into the ground. The blue knight aggressively gestured to his glowing arm, making his displeasure clear.

"What isn't?! I got to deal with this thing, my mom is still out there somewhere as a possessed stone monster, and..." Clay sighed, "I miss Jestro. I know what he did. But... he doesn't deserve to take the blame! All the other knights are out doing other things, leaving me to train..."
