Erik and I haven't really spoken since our awkward, very awkward kiss. I've been busy with my publishers in translating my book to English and I've been writing some new short stories that I think I'm going to put into a big book just filled with the short stories.

"Magdie, Erik is on the phone for you." My mom shouts from downstairs so I quickly meet her halfway on the stairs and then go back into my room and continue to type on my laptop.

"Hello." I say into the phone and type the start of a new story.

"Hi Magda. I've not spoke to you in ages and I really miss you and I'm going to be playing in a Germant game and I just really want you to come." He rambles quicky but I understand everything.

"Sure I'll come."

"It's tonight."

"Okay, will you pick me up?" I ask and I can tell that he's nodding and then he answered.

"Okay, I'll get you at around fourish because the game is at six."

"Okay, bye."

"Bye, love you."

"I love you too." I hang up the phone and then keep on typing my story and then a knock comes to my door. "Come in." I shout.

"Hi." My mom gives me a big smile and she walks gracefully into my room.

"Hi, what's wrong?" I ask as she gives me an even bigger smile.

"Nothing wrong." If it's even possible, she gives me an even bigger smile and then continues, "so what's going on with you and Erik?" I roll my eyes immediately.

"Nothing mom. Erik is my best friend and that's it."

"That's not what I heard." Panic then sets in. I didn't tell anyone and I don't think Erik told anyone.

"What did you hear?" I ask and spin on my chair to face her as she sits down on my bed.

"I heard from Erik's mom that when Erik had some of his team mates over on night and they were talking about you."

"Well mom I don't think that's true as Erik has his own place now and probably has his friends over at his own place and not his parents house."

"Oh come'n Magdie. You and Erik belong together." She whines making me laugh.

"Mom you need to understand that Erik and I aren't going to date."

"But you're single and Erik is single. Erik's mom and I have been waiting for this for years!" My mom shouts making me laugh.

"I don't think so mom." I shake my head and then go back to typing.

"Fine, but I know it's going to happen one day." She then walks out of my room so I continue to type my story.

--------------------------------

I stop typing as I've been sitting down on my laptop for too long and it's almost time for Erik to come and pick me up and my head is starting to hurt.

I go in for a shower and then come out and come out an pick out the outfit I'm going to wear.

I finally decide on the Germany second jersey with Erik's name and number on the back. I pair it with high waisted jeans, all black converse, my leather jacket and my black bag.

I pull my now slightly longer hair up into a high ponytail. It's not too long but it's not long enough to not let some hair fall down at the back.

"Magdie!" My mom shouts,"I've made some red velvet cake." I immediately run down stairs to get a piece sing I love red velvet cake and I was amazed at how it tastes like chocolate but is red.
