•Chapter 8•
"Jazakallahu khairan". Hidayah said after Asad dropped her home. 
"Wa antum fa jazakamullahu khairan". Asad replied.
"You had your dinner?". Hidayah asked. 
"Yes". Asad said to which Hidayah nodded getting off the car and went straight to her home. 
She twisted the door knob and got inside followed by Asad. He locked the door once he was inside. 
"Hidayah please don't be offended me saying this but dont stay late at office. If any such emergency occurs, tell me". Asad said, his eyes on ground. 
"Why do you care Asad? ". Hidayah asked casually to which he shot his eyes at her. 
"You're my cousin Hidayah. How can i not worry about you? ". Asad said. 
She didn't find it appropriate for him to worry about her even if they are cousins. She thought he's being quite weirdly weird these days. She didn't understand what was going in his mind.
Nevertheless, she didn't ask him anything further. Instead, she nodded her head and went to her room. 
Asad looked at her retreating figure. He knew he's being kiddish around her. The way he portrayed his concern is what she in doubt with. He went to his room to have a proper sleep. 
Tomorrow is a big day to his friend, Kabir after all.

"Thank God, it's Sunday otherwise I had to take a leave from office to attend the wedding". Hidayah told her father on the breakfast table. 
"Yes and I'm sorry bete. I couldn't come to pick you yesterday". Yahya said apologising. 
"Abba that's okay". Hidayah said taking an omelet from the casserole.
"But I'm Greatful to this guy". Yahya said admiring Asad. 
"Yeah and when are we leaving Abba? I can't wait already". Hidayah said excitedly.
"Let Asad come and then we'll leave together". Yahya said to which Hidayah nodded her head. 
"Hida beta. Bring my medicines while coming from office tomorrow". Zohra said coming into the dining hall and taking a seat for herself. 
"That means you have run out of it?". Hidayah asked astonished.
"Dadi, I can bring it now if it's important". Asad said coming into the scene.
"Ohh no no! I'm fine beta. Its okay if I consume it tomorrow". Zohra lied not wanting to disturb them on Sunday. But Hidayah knew it.
"Okay Dadi if you say so! ". Hidayah said instead because she knew arguing with her dadi is of no use. 
"Okay get ready fast all of you". Yahya said and after the breakfast, everyone dispersed to their room to get ready.
"You're looking handsome bete". Zohra exclaimed after seeing Asad all ready to leave. He wore a blue colored shirt and a black formal pant. 
"You're not looking less than a princess Dadi". Asad said making her blush. 
"Oh come on! If your Dada was still alive, he'd have sung a song for me". Zohra said talking about her late husband. 
"Do you want me to do that Dadi? ". Asad asked playing around with her.
"Sing for your future wife beta". Zohra said making his heartbeat accelerate to another level when Hidayah stepped out of her room on mentioning of his future wife, wearing a simple Abaya and a golden colored Scarf covering her head. He lowered his gaze not wanting to look at her to make his unrealistic heart to dream.
